Crafting antibiotics.. WHERE IS THE FUNGUS

So.. I'm in survival and had the sense to take chemist 1 because I wanna save my caps for collecting sweet items from vendors, not buying antibiotics. However, it appears as though once you get into and around diamond city glowing fungus (required component) becomes very rare.

So if anyone knows places around the commonwealth where glowing fungus can be found in abundance apart from the molerat den at red rocket I'd really appreciate the tip, my character is starting to run low and I despise being sick in this mode.. I really do.

lol, I was just gonna say 'molerat den at red rocket' but really glowing fungus is common in many places, try Wildwood Cemetery.

It is green it glows and it is everywhere . it is easy to spot at night .

Yeah just keep looking at night. The cemetery east of sanctuary near tenpines bluff has some. Also keep a keen eye at the bases of trees and caves.

Oh.. never considered that, I've been very well behaved in survival and slept through most nights as to avoid fatigue.. the prospect of an all-nighter is odly appealing.. like I'm breaking curfew or something.. (I'm not a minor either hence the feeling being odd)

Areas with heavy radiation seem to be hotspots for glowing fungus, namely most places that you find Ghouls, especially the glowing sea. As mentioned before, searching during night is suggested just because of how much light glowing fungus gives off; you can see if from miles away at night.

Here's a wiki page for Glowing Fungus. I'm not sure how accurate it is, but there are some locations listed that might be worth checking, namely near the river in Sanctuary, which seems pretty easy to check.
