Where in the ♥♥♥♥ did OP spoil the DLC? Im pretty sure it was already general knowledge that Nick was to play an integral part in the DLC from the marketing.
1) Op probably wanted to stay on Survival mode as much as possible.
2) Console is disabled in Survival mode and OP doesnt seem like th kind who cheats, though he is pissed.
3) Cant fault yourself with this, a mod that removes HUD elements is his way of playing but its pretty stupid imo.
4) Again, cheats so refer to number 2.
Still his own fault, and he could of switched out of survival and used console. Hell, he switched out of survival to use the console he even said it.
"finding him there, and then turning down the difficulty to access the console"
^see^
and it's still his fault that he got a mod that removes hud elements when they are a pretty key factor in the game.
00f109c = medic healing mods so when you shoot an ally with this it will heal them, but if it comes to enemies it will not heal nor hurt them. This works on robots that are allies including settlement turrets, any allies above you side with. Note do not use it on fat man there is glitch if you shoot one in the sky and let it fall down from the sky it will cause NPC go hostile against you including if your using expiermental launcher its a harming dmg.
Yeah I agree, its still his own fault. Im pretty sure removing the HUD is a pretty dumb move.
See, he could have fixed this all by himself, but he decided not to. Why? Ignorance, and this is what happens from it. He get's all pissed and starts ranting on a fourm.
> OP complains about Bethesda not stating that Nick is a semi-important character to Far Harbour's plot
> Spends hours treking to and from Far Harbour to get Nick and blames Bethesda even though it wasn't their fault.
> Gets back to Far Harbour with Nick, immediately goes for the quest that takes him to the South end of the island (in a game where it was already stated that going South means higher risk)
> Fails to bring more than 10 stimpaks in an area OP had to realize was inhabited with stronger enemies than the Commonwealth
> Nick "dies" and does what companions do and returns to the last settlement he was sent to
> Comes onto the forums to whine and complain about Bethesda not preventing him from failing
And here's how we determine that OP is an idiot:
> The store page for Far Harbour explicitly states that the plot centers around "A new case for the Valentine Detective Agency"
> OP clearly doesn't put two-and-two together to realize Nick is relatively essential to the plotline before making the first trip to the island
> Doesn't bother to stock up on stimpaks in the Commonwealth before making the trip to Far Harbour
> Immediately goes for the objective at the furthest Southern point on the island (in a quest that has no time limit and is more than likely one of the side-missions for the old Dalton lady)
> Doesn't bother to build a bed at either of the settlements or rent a room in Far Harbour to avoid a long walk back
> Apparently forgets that companions go back to the last settlement they're sent to after dying
> Didn't send Nick to a settlement on the island and then re-recruit him to avoid him going back to the Commonwealth
> Blames Bethesda for bringing every one of these problems on himself.
I personally don't play on Survival, but Far Harbour's creatures are difficult enough in the normal modes, and I've also watched a buddy of mine play on Survival. Not only has he done well and survived the entirety of the Far Harbour DLC (including a couple hermit crabs), but he's also turn Dalton Farm and Spectacle Island into complete, fully-furnished, fully lit, TOWNS without a single console command.
In other words, OP needs to quit b*tchin' and git gud.
That moment when you realize this isn't even a spoiler as Nick's death in this discussion is 100% solely because of OP's own stupidity and not because of a plot-point in Far Harbour.
No spoiler tag needed and no report needed because it's wrong to just report someone for being an idiot.
