Mahkra Fishpacking is a deathtrap... Survival.
So, am exploring around the Commonwealth when I found the Fishpacking facility with a bunch of already-dead Raiders decorating the place.

Thoroughly explored the place outside and in and then find the elevator going down.

Have my first run-in with Synths. They aren't so difficult to pick off when they're alone... One or two of them have better-than-average equipment and deal significant damage to me, but 'Ada' (same build as when I acquired her, except with Assaultron legs) is able to draw attention away long enough for me to pick them off.

Found a Legendary Synth Leader down there.. but he was already dead near a tripped tripwire trap (yay).

Cleared everything down there, found the big treasure box and a Tesla magazine. And found a matress to sleep in. So I sleep there to save my game.

Now... I am stuck :(

My activities down below have spawned more synths above and when I ride the elevator up, I am completely surrounded on all sides and get shot to pieces.

Any advice about how to deal with this predicament?

Hit jet and run

Hide on the lift. If you are good at stealth, you should be able to get away into shadows fast enough. If you have Blitz and a good melee weapon, you can probably VATS the two coming from the direction of the exit (melee one-hit usually doesn't alarm enemies, unless close). If you cannot stealth, ride up and see what you can do with grenades.
As azathoth says, using jet and run is also an option.

Whatever you do, don't fight on the lift. At least run into the corridor, where it is easier to get them.

If I were you I'd get out onto the roof where there's only like 2 of them, and then I'd head for the water.. all you'd need is some radx or aquaboy and swim down the coast out of the way of them.
Because yes there's more outside once you get out of the building.

Bethesda loves to do that lol, I come across this occurance more then once, you think you are done and they spawn more enemys as you leave the place or area

anyway when you get to the top of the lift thier a semi trailer run inside of it if you can and use it for cover.

Run for the door
Specifically, go up the lift while crouched, then beeline for the ground exit.
But don't take it - instead do a U turn and run up the stairs and follow it round to the hatch that leads to the roof.

Theres normally a synth up there, kill that and pick off the ones in the courtyard and bottleneck the rest as they come to get you.

If all else fails, jump off the roof and into the sea, then swim like crazy.

Yes~ I got out of the Fishpacking plant!

Between my inventory and Ada's I had about 12 Fragmentation Grenades.

I started throwing them up the shaft of the elevator and landing them on the ground above.
I threw 3-4 of them and I don't think I hit any of the synths... But, I did alert them to my presence down below.

Two of them AI-pathfinding-derped at me and fell down the elevator shaft to their deaths :p

After that, I rode the elevator up, popped a Jet, and dashed into the corner... For no reason..!

The other synths were inside the little 'buildings' around the elevator shaft, looking for me.

Ada did not ride the elevator up with me. The two synths were split up and dealt with easily.

I decided to exit out the front door and was greeted by... Don't know how many synths. But luckily, none of them were so close to me as to have a great shot. I sprinted away while being grazed by a few shots. I finally got far enough from the area that the synths stopped chasing me.

It was about this time that I realized that Ada wasn't following me. Even after changing zones.

Kind of annoying. I assume that she stubbed her robot-toes and needed repairs... But I never received any 'Repair your Companion' notification.

Decided to just head on home since I no longer had any companion with me and my inventory was practically full.

Along the way, I found the Coastal Cottage's workshop. Tried to use it, but it said I must first clear the area. I heard gunshots nearby and witnessed a lone Raider Psycho getting mauled by a Legendary Glowing Mirelurk and a regular Mirelurk. My greed for unlocking a new settlement got the better of me (this happens to me often) and I threw the remainder of my grenades at the two mirelurks, killing the regular one and crippling the legs of (but also mutating) the Legendary Mirelurk.

It was a simple task of backpeddling downhill while shooting into the face of the Mirelurk. He died and dropped some useless Legendary that I didn't even bother to pick up.

Luckily, the raider and the two Mirelurks were the only enemies in the Coastal Cottage area!

I was able to access the Workshop and I scrapped all the junk lying around until I had enough cloth to make a bed...

And I slept for 8 hours.

When I awoke... Ada was still gone (probably back at Sanctuary now). And three Mechanist Robots were just outside the tiny shack I built my bed in and they immediately detected me. What the heck!?

Thankfully, they were only the floating Junkbot variants, none of them were tank bots. Nonetheless, I had to sprint out of there and pick them off with my rifle only after I'd put enough distance between them and myself or else I'd have been torn to shreds by their automatic fire.

I defeated them all.. Looted one of them (could not for the life of me find the bodies of the other two robots...) and headed west towards home.

Was an uneventful run until I made it to the Slog (already friendly location!). I sold some stuff to Doc Weathers who was sitting there and slept in one of the beds before continuing west.

I was mostly following the roads until I came across a lone Mr. Handy. It became aggressive to me so I killed it with a single shot from my rifle. I started to approach it to loot it when all of a sudden I saw two Rust Devils and their modified Sentry Bot charging straight at me. I turned around and ran, taking almost lethal damage. Then, all of a sudden, there were lasers coming at me from the direction I was running, so I turned left and ran up a hill towards a relay station. The enemies surprisingly broke off pursuit, but I still heard tons of gunfire and explosions coming from down where I just was.

I looked down and saw that the Rust Devils were fighting Gunners. The Rust Devil group seemed to consist of two separate patrols that were walking towards each other down the same road.. and the Gunners were caught in the middle.

They didn't last too long. And as the Rust Devils split up into two groups again and parted ways... I again was motivated by greed to kill and loot them rather than turning west and running towards home.

And it was a terrible mistake!

I picked off all the human Rust Devils with headshots (ran away and waited for them to stop looking for me after each kill) until all that was left was Sentry Bot.

I let it go a ways down the road so I was able to swoop down and loot all the Rust Devils, then I continued to shoot the Sentry Bot and hide like I had before. I did this for about... 10 minutes (most of this time was me hiding), but was making little progress against it.

Eventually, it seemed to catch on to me and kept chasing me farther and farther until I saw the General Atomics Galleria ahead of me. And that gave me an idea. I remembered from my first playthrough of the game that all the Mr. Gutsy robots helped me against some Mirelurks when I brought them to the Galleria, so I figured I'd get some help again on this Survival Mode character with the Sentry Bot.

So I stood up and shot at the Sentry Bot a few times and lured him towards the Galleria... Deliberately allowing it to get closer just so it wouldn't stop chasing me. Once I made it to the safety of the Galleria, I ran a few quick circles around the guards and... was disappointed. The Gutsies did not bat a single eye-unit at the attacking Sentry Bot and the Sentry Bot did not stop to sniff the Gutsies.

I ran. Up a hill. The Sentry Bot still in hot pursuit.
Ended up bumping into a group of Radstags. I stopped to turn around to see if the Sentry Bot was still following me, and it was. I was about to run away again when I was distracted for the briefest moment by the fact that one of the Radstags was a 'Legendary' Radstag. I thought, "Should I kill this one...? No, better to save my AP in case I need it against the robot."

I turned back away from the Sentry Bot to run some more.. but suddenly..... The Legendary Radstag attacked me! And in one killing-blow animation, it headbutted me and lifted me up into the air on its antlers and shook me around, then slammed me back onto the ground and started grinding its head left and right.

I died.
Met my end at the antlers of an angry Radstag.

At least it was an entertaining end :p
I'd never been killed by a Radstag before. I never would've seen that animation if I hadn't died there X) I had a smile on my face when I died.
