Grabbing and Throwing

This is something I've been looking at and testing extensively. If you pick up and hold an object (this usually works best with lighter objects) and then press the RELOAD button, you will throw the object instead of just dropping it. If you HOLD DOWN the reload button, then release it, you'll throw the object harder and farther. There's no real purpose for any of this, but it's fun to throw bottles at Diamond City Security. Enjoy!

I was wondering what was the purpose of the pickable "rock", so I guess you just throw it.

You can pick up car tyres and throw them at enemies, does not do actual damage but staggers them. You can also hold car tyres to shield against bullets. Nice for melee when you need to get closer.

I saw a video of a radroach that was impossible to kill since it was wearing impenetrable trashcan armour.

Yeah, you just pick it up, then press and hold R for reload. Then you let it go.

I wonder what would happen if you threw a Knife/Sword at a NPC?I havnt tried doing that yet.

Propably nothing. Might be fun to throw mines at people though. Especially if you have sneak 4, so you don't set them off yourself.

So far it seems that items just bounce off. Staggering seems the worst you can do.

You can't pick up mines that are active either. I tried so hard. It just disarms them.
