Where is Captain Avery?

there is a quest Im doing called changing tide, where you have to help the people of far harbor,
after I helped them it said, "talk to captain avery" but, shes nowhere to be found and on the compass it doesn't have an arrow leading to her. Does anybody know where she went, or does anybody have a command to spawn her?

There is a bug where she apperantly vanishes. Look up her Id on the wiki and spawn her in.

The command for spawning in somthing is player.placeatme

I tried that but it never worked I typed player.placeatme xx005c80

I did that about 10 times, still didn't work :/

Also had that problem. I noticed the quest marker on Avery as I was boarding the boat to do the Red Death quest, but did not talk to her at that time. After completing the Red Death quest, Avery disappeared. Console command would not work to bring her back, so I reloaded back to before I boarded the boat, talked to Avery and completed the quest. I was then able to complete Red Death. Definitely a bug.

Is the quest under "Miscellaneous"? because you might not have it set as active

oh im so screwed i accidentely deleted all my saves after the red death quest noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

The "xx" has to be replaced with the internal games number of the dlc. Else nothing will happen.

If an NPC with an already active script/quest gets removed and then respawned normally breaks the script for that person. It´s ... not ideal. It´s always better to reload a previous save where the npc still was there.
