Go up the stairs and head for the door ahead on your left. There is a circular walkway with two raiders, let them come to you and kill them. Head into that room, go forward and then right to the blue double doors. It is safe to open them.
Take the stairs down and down again, look round the corner into the corridor, there is one raider, kill her. A bit ahead is an elevator. Go up in the elevator. Sneak out to the terminal, no one will notice you, and activate the protectron. It will kill all raiders on that floor. Meanwhile hug the wall on your left and snipe Jared.
Head back out the same way. Do not loot yet, you will do that later when you are stronger.
As for getting the quest directly form the Ten Pines Settlers, I just avoid talking to them. The settlement is not worth the low level moltov hassle.
You do realize there is nothing preventing you from clearing a bunch of the Corvega Plant then leaving and saving in the bed on the neabry overpass and going back for more. Could probably even use the beds in the area by the parts machines.
You can avoid grenades by looking for the enemy's windup for the throw (it's a fairly obvious animation). If you see them start to throw, all you have to do is sprint to a different location and usually you completely avoid the blast. It's not something I paid attention to prior to Survival mode; but noticed after dying from grenades again and again.
The point here is to try and avoid dying so you realize what is occuring prior to you dying.
For Corvega Assembly Plant, I use the dilapidated bridge in front of Corvega. There are several walls to sneak behind and snipe if that's the way you want to try it. Place landmines at the bridge entrance so they can't follow you up. There are beds on the bridge; if you were wondering about saving.
Inside the plant I always used the roof access hatch (not any of the side doors), that puts my character on the upper floor; where I can sneak towards the stairs and place landmines. At that entrance point are sleeping bags, btw so you can still save your game inside the plant.
If your really struggling stack bufftats+ psychobuff, throw in the odd dose of jet and use refreshing beverages to heal
I don't plan to use drugs much, maybe later just psycho jet for Deathclaw and Assaultron like.
I loved it. Got me hooked on the 'new' F4 experience.
Went in as usual, died horribly, lost progress.
Came back to it, scoped it out from a distance with a scoped gun. Mounted a silencer on it.
Went to work sneaking around, one shotting raiders.
Silenced a 10MM.
Snuck in.
Few tense moments, but on the whole, it played like a level straight out of hitman.
Real good times.
