Survival, the first quest at Coverga Assembly Plant
I've been 1 hit several times by molotov cocktail, the enemy throw it very fast and sure death.
Now because you can only save at bed, I've retried several times, it really time consuming.
There is a lot of enemies there about 20 if I'm not mistaken.

What do you do?

I get the survival quicksave mod, that's what. This isn't Dark Souls and Bethesda shouldn't pretend it is.

Sneak around, use suppressors if available, send in Codsworth first and liberal use of my own molotovs and grenades.

Don't make Corvega Assembly Plant your first major quest. That was a mistake.

Go in through the sewer. There are two ghouls, kill. You will get to an opening, there is a turret, kill. Then there are either one or two raiders coming down the stairs, kill them.

Go up the stairs and head for the door ahead on your left. There is a circular walkway with two raiders, let them come to you and kill them. Head into that room, go forward and then right to the blue double doors. It is safe to open them.

Take the stairs down and down again, look round the corner into the corridor, there is one raider, kill her. A bit ahead is an elevator. Go up in the elevator. Sneak out to the terminal, no one will notice you, and activate the protectron. It will kill all raiders on that floor. Meanwhile hug the wall on your left and snipe Jared.

Head back out the same way. Do not loot yet, you will do that later when you are stronger.

Don't go 20vs1 when you're the low-level 1.

pretty much sums it up^

I left Preston and his band of monkeys in the museum. I will go back once when my perception hit 10 for the bobblhead, then back again a second time when I am ready to let the monkeys out of the cage.

As for getting the quest directly form the Ten Pines Settlers, I just avoid talking to them. The settlement is not worth the low level moltov hassle.

You do realize there is nothing preventing you from clearing a bunch of the Corvega Plant then leaving and saving in the bed on the neabry overpass and going back for more. Could probably even use the beds in the area by the parts machines.

Are you using Buffout? Stimpack work too slowly, but Buffout gives instant hp's.

You can avoid grenades by looking for the enemy's windup for the throw (it's a fairly obvious animation). If you see them start to throw, all you have to do is sprint to a different location and usually you completely avoid the blast. It's not something I paid attention to prior to Survival mode; but noticed after dying from grenades again and again.

The point here is to try and avoid dying so you realize what is occuring prior to you dying.

For Corvega Assembly Plant, I use the dilapidated bridge in front of Corvega. There are several walls to sneak behind and snipe if that's the way you want to try it. Place landmines at the bridge entrance so they can't follow you up. There are beds on the bridge; if you were wondering about saving.

Inside the plant I always used the roof access hatch (not any of the side doors), that puts my character on the upper floor; where I can sneak towards the stairs and place landmines. At that entrance point are sleeping bags, btw so you can still save your game inside the plant.

Forget buffout
If your really struggling stack bufftats+ psychobuff, throw in the odd dose of jet and use refreshing beverages to heal :steammocking:

You can't evade it if the enemy is close enough, there is a lot of close quater fighting in that place. Once they even throw it at near point blank. You know I can evade grenade easily but you can't evade molotov like that, it very fast, very accurate and the effect is instant.

I don't plan to use drugs much, maybe later just psycho jet for Deathclaw and Assaultron like.

use the power armor, invest in the endurance and get the life giver perk so you won't die from a single molotov. if you're spotted by a large group of raiders/ghouls - pop up some jet/buffout and RUN AWAY, preferably somewhere where you can find allies. enter the plant through the sewers - that way you won't have more than 2 enemies at once to deal with.

I thought that'd be impossible, but actually was easy. I found it just needed suppression from a distance, so they wouldn't know what to do even if you slightly alerted them (caution) and when you get inside? Just ensure you hit hard and unexpectedly... usually does the job. Didn't need grenades, molotovs, big guns, or any fancy stuff. Just a good gun and some tactics.

what I did was start by clearing out the ghouls in town for kill perk bonus, and then getting up on the over pass and sniping the guy in power armor from above and clearing out most the raiders from the over pass. The enemy weapons do suffer from distance drop off but if you have a long ranged rifle you will make it, then you go in through the sewer and clear your way up, use drugs if you find your self suddenly having to fight more than two at a time. Jet plus med x plus psycho will basicly kill everything in a room.

Oh this quest on survival was such a breath of fresh air.

I loved it. Got me hooked on the 'new' F4 experience.
Went in as usual, died horribly, lost progress.

Came back to it, scoped it out from a distance with a scoped gun. Mounted a silencer on it.
Went to work sneaking around, one shotting raiders.

Silenced a 10MM.

Snuck in.

Few tense moments, but on the whole, it played like a level straight out of hitman.
Real good times.

Survival you have to search around for exp up in the corner near Sanctuary. Also I really like how survival is reall hard since I bring multiple allies with me. Dont get a quick save mod. Get the multiple allies mod.
