Paladin Danse after Rocket's Red Glare/Airship Down? [SPOILERS]

At the end of the Railroad or Institute questlines, you end up blowing the Prydwen out of the sky and crashing it into the Boston Airport. Along the way to doing so, you probably shot up Paladin Danse en route to destroying the brotherhood. That's what I did.

However, what I would like to know is what happens if you complete the BoS quest Blind Betrayal and keep Danse alive, and then do either of those quests. Will he still be your follower?

No cause even though he isn't apart of the brotherhood he still is a fervent believer of the Bos and maxton so he still hates your guts and most likly will want to spill them.

Well, since Maxson banned him and since he's a Synth I'd say it wouldn't bother him that much, even though he swore to serve their interest anyway.
You didn't destory all of the BoS after all.

This is just a speculation, though, I made a pre-decision save (before the Mass Fusion quest), did all the endings and went back to that save without checking what happens to any of the companions (except when I killed off the Railroad, Deacon was with me and not happy at all).

I think I read somewhere else a while ago that if you destroy the BoS, Danse (if he's your companion after Blind Betrayal) will just ignore you afterwards.

I completed Blind Betrayal, stuck Danse at a settlement, blew up the Prydwen and became enemies with the BoS, and he is still a normal companion for me. I romanced him and then set him as a provisioner afterwards, and he is still happily running his route from Red Rocket to Starlight Drive-In.

Interesting, didn't know he would continue as normal..

But... HOW could you make him a lowly provisioner after romancing him? I treat him like a King! lol

Huh, your game has got to be bugged, usually Danse ignores you after Blind Betrayal and the destruction of the BoS, regardless of your relationship status.
You can be enemies with the BoS, you can even kill Maxson and Danse will still be your follower, but blowing up the Prydwen is too much for him. He must really like that blimp.

Oh crap, you're right, I kinda "complained" about that many months ago. Totally forgot about that.

I don't like having a companion with me, and they make great provisioners. I've gotten every possible companion and almost all of them are set to supply routes. The ones I romanced still give me the bonus for sleeping near them if I sleep while they are in one of the settlements on their route, too.

According to the Wiki it's actually a bug if he ignores you, not the other way around. It was a little weird being all chummy with him after slaughtering everyone he knew at the BoS, though.

Huh, i didn't know about that. Danse's situation is a bit weird in general. I recently took him to the Brotherhood Mass Fusion quest using this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12814/? and found out that he has quite a lot of dialogue there even though he gets banished from the BoS a few missions before that. Guess it is a leftover from the cut BoS ending.
