Can you sell him to that creepy guy? In what way did you fail the quest btw?

I don't mean to sound unsympathetic but what would you do in any other game if you failed to complete an objective?

Just restore your save from before the failure and try again.

no i reloaded a save it was at level 30 i was doing great ;-;

How did you manage to fail that? Check his house, maybe his parents died.

That is a good question. Billy is essential so he can't die before he is delievered home or sold. His parents cannot be killed by Bullet. So the only way I think you could fail this mission is if you ran into the house and killed his parents yourself before the mission completes and you get payment. But I'm not sure that is possible either.

Details, details. First of all, you can't kill him because he's a child, and children are unkillable. Second, it's really hard to fail without working at it. There are two ways to do this quest, and failing usually means you forgot which one you picked. But whatever, who cares that you failed? It's a single player game without a score. Don't worry about it and keep playing. You can do the quest again on your next playthrough.

p.s. And people complain there are not consequences to this game! Hah!

Yes but this means he will have Billy following him all over the place. That would make for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ playthrough lol

He can allways click on him in console and disable him.

He could also use the console to place him at the PC, reset the quest and finish it. But I'm still wondering how he "failed" the mission.

I'm pretty sure the only way to fail it is to attack his parents before bullet shows up
Billy is essential, his parents are essential until the quest starts to my knowledge

I think there's a bug with this kid if you didn't clear quincy. Like how he affect the unique drop on tessa's fist if you meet him before clearing quincy.

Tessa came down and joined the fight with Bullet one of the times I did kid in the fridge. She had the fist iirc.
