And even with high luck you will probably need many attempts.
The perfectly preserved pie is useless btw ;)

I've tried the machine afterwards, and just like the others I find, you can't get the food. Not without a mod, that is.
DIdn't know that, cool! (About needing high luck).
I have a huge stuffed toy collection from my time in Japan which I'll give to my kid when I have one some day. =)

The way to beat it is so sit back in the arcade and wait until someone gets a toy in the claw. Then start counting.
You'll see x number of people fail the game, when one person gets the toy easily again all you have to do is count through the cycle until the claw strength resets.
Bingo, free toy. If you don't mind waiting 2 hours that is.
Ah, I see, a way to kinda cheat some sort of consumer fraud thing. If I had the time, I'd do as you'd suggested. Might be better of just going to Toys R Us and charging a toy on my card, be faster, less hassle, less time waiting.
You get what you get. XD
So yeah....just go buy a toy lol. Much easier.
