It's on Sky Atlantic, or NowTv if your in the UK.

It's a no brainer, just watch it.

Or watch the original Westworld film first.

That's right ! I love Westworld, but HBO clearly took idea and art essence from Fallout4. Especially, android design and robot assembly line machine is almost same ! Does Bethesda confirm copy right? Is this really OK?

Things got rather chilling this week. What a brilliant show.

Love that show. No copyright issue that is the symbol of mankind.

A good portion of what Fallout does is from pop culture and existing works, and the original westworld was made before fallout

The symbol of mankind was created long before Westworld.

Everything is taken from something, the symbol of mankind or the Vitruvian Man was based off of a human being that da vinci himself dissected and placed a modified version on paper

Watching series now i do think about similarities to Fallout 4. Did it make make me think about synths in another way? I don't think so. I did choose Instuitute side on my playthrough. I think it only made me more convinced, that synths' deviant behaviour was because of programming errors. They were made to behave like humans, but it was only a shell.

Fallout 4 and Westworld both take from the original Westworld back in the 1970's? I believe It's the 1970's at least, so there's always that.
And a few other sources and pop culture references here and there, like in Fallout 2, but not placed everywhere like an std.

1973, the first Westworld film. You want a real mind trip, look up the actors and keep in mind the appearances of quite a few of the FO4 characters.

Now, work that back into the game and you could very well tie Falloutworld back into the other TES games (like Skyrim) by putting everything in Delos and having them all be simulations.

I think Fo4 might be more inspired by the reboot of BSG then Westworld, at least thematically. But that Yul Brenner, the original terminator: his coldness still echoes in characters like X6-88 and the coursers in Fo3 too.
