I pick one answer in the dialog with thugs and trudy -> mccready dislikes that, I pick the opposite one -> same stuff
whats wrong with this guy?

steal red stuff in good neighbor
break into the 3 warehouses in goodneighbor for ez affinity. also enjoys snarky/immature responses IIRC

Steal, lockpick/hack owned objects, haggle for more caps when the option is available. There also is a point during one quest where you can find the "Contract: Shelly Tiller". Take that, go where it leads you, and kill the woman indicated in the contract, and he'll like that, too. I love Creads, but he's a little bit of a pain to get affinity with since he dislikes a lot of what I do, but I've always managed to get there eventually.

Ignore the "dislikes this/that", it's no Mass Effect or Telltale's The Walking Dead. There won't be any consequences for you.

Except taking longer to get the perk. Perks and dialogue being the only reasons to have a talking companion.

MacReady is more into being a sheister. Steal things, haggle for money, break into locked rooms, and act sarcastic towards NPCs and you'll build some affinity. That said, it's harder than trying to boost affinity for most other "good" NPCs.
