How to get rid of radiation on health bar
I just started a new game and my healthbar has a little bit of rads. Im afraid the rads will take over my healthbar. How do I get rid of it at the beginning of the game? thanks!

Radaway. As you've seen as radiation accumulates it decreases your max HP. Just take a radaway to decrease your radiation absorbed and restore your max HP. There is no penalty in taking radaway on any difficulty except Survival. In Survival radaway will make you thirsty and give you suppressed immunity debuf which will make you more susceptible to illnesses.

You'll find them in medical boxes; the same ones that contain stimpacs. There should be a few in Vault 111 and the buildings outside as well as a couple in Sanctuary. You may also purchase them from vendors later in the game, although you'll probably find more than enough just looting.

No problem. Here's the wiki. You'll find lots of answers to basic questions there.

According to the wiki there are 2 in the crates just outside Vault 111.

I don't know. I haven't messed with settlements until after I installed the DLC's.

I'm pretty sure it is a DLC item. I just didn't want the OP confused if he doesn't have the DLCs and couldn't find it.
