WARNING TO ALL NUKA-WORLD DLC OWNERS ((PLEASE READ))
Dear Fallout Player,

We all love our Fusion Cores. Chances are you've got a stash of Power Armor on display at home. This is why this warning comes to you.

If you value your Fusion Cores, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT use the new "Aeternus" Gatling Laser. It will insta-deplete several of your cores to below 25%. Also, after usage, you can't deselect the Cores, so when you use a normal GL, you'll be stuck with those useless cores.

Again, DO NOT use the Aeternus. It'll waste your cores.

If anyone experienced anything similar, post it below, and I'll write up a support error to Bethesda.

Why I'm not surprised
H.Honor Oct 1, 2016 @ 3:20pm
that is weird because because when i use the Aethernus one of my cores delepetes to 0/100 and the Aethernus only uses that core while the rest stays 100/100

So what if I carry one core?

its wont work with one core you need atleast 3 from my experience it will insta deplete that 1 core to 0 and just fire 1 shot and the core is gone

Erm, I was able to use this weapon with one core and it never went down, never had any of these problem so I'm guessing an update caused it.

Even if its an amazing weapon i never use the ones with unlimited magazine capacity unlimited ammo is even worse... but this warning is appriciated as gat lasers are da bomb....or would be if fatmen were not a thing

Semi offtopic but I've been wondering. Are my cores going to dry up after I'm done visiting all the world locations? Or will I continue to find enough of them as conventional loot to feed my reliance on power armor?

I never gave it much thought before but lately I'm starting to like the li'l fellas.

weid Aeternus works fine for me
but i watched Oxhorns vid Ateternus acts up if you have low amount of cores
if you bring like 20 or 30 with you
it dosent glitch out like you described

If you value your Fusion Cores, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT use the new "Aeternus" Gatling Laser. It will bug out and drain 12 Cores to 99%, and 3 to below 20%. Also, after usage, you can't deselect the Cores, so when you use a normal GL, you'll be stuck with those 3-15 ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cores.

I never use full automatic weapons because in FO4 they're total ass and use up a ♥♥♥♥-ton of ammo unnecessarily.

Why shoot 10 bullets that do 6 damage each, when I can shoot 1 bullet that does 60 damage?

There was a bug where using one core would grant infinite ammo and never bottom out. Possibly fixed by now though

I'm the same way, prefer single shot guns, hate the automatics for that reason

though with contraption workshop its easy to get ammo now
