Possible to get rid of cats without killing them?
i tamed a bunch of cats in my main settlement, but then this new mod called "diverse cats" was released. So now i have chances to get cats with new look.

So i want to get rid of all the ugly grey cats but there is no way to send them to another settlement, or kick them out. The best i can do is put their bowls far away but technically they will still be in the settlement...

Do i have to be the kitty killer then for the sake of aesthetic? :steamsad:

You can roast their meat and eat it afterwards. You'll get to eat a lot of pu... I mean cats!

Console, click on it and type disable. If you play on survival, you will need a mod to reactivate the console.

I hear that if you punch a cat hard enough it splits into 2 kittens

I jumped off the roof at Abernathy Farm in my power armor and killed their cat. I've avoided all cats since then.

speaking of abernathy and cats
that cat is long dead because i couldnt keep up protecting it
because of wasteland workshop cages i bugged aberanthy farm to ♥♥♥♥
even when there are no tamed creatures or cages in my abernathy farm literally every few ingame hours there are 2-3 yao guais spawning inside the farm or 5-6 molerats

its constant and fixed intervals every few ingame hours i even saw them spawning right before my eyes when i was buildng a shack 2 yao guais materialized before me
i almost got a heart attack because i was between 2 hostile yao guais and 5 missile turrets and still in workshop mode

Never ever use the disable command to remove things and NPCs. It still leaves them in memory, which adds t osave bloat.
To properly remove them you will need to also use the markfordelete command.
