Is there a way to contact Bethesda with ideas?
I had an epiphany about an awesome dlc idea. I was wondering if it would be possible to contact some one from bethesda with this idea. Or at least some excellent modder to make it for nexus/behtesda. Thanks.

I don't think Bethesda would listen. They're done with FO4 and besides, ideas are worth.. well, nothing. Just like music.

They also have many employees who would prefer that their own ideas be put first.
you have more hopes in finding a modder then anyone from bethesda even reading your idea let alone impliment any of it

I had a feeling I would not be able to but I was still curious. If anyone cares this is the idea. Two words, Time Travel. Now bear with me for a second. The Sole Survivor is wandering around the Commonwealth when he gets a radio signal from some scientist looking for help. When he/she gets there, they do a couple quests helping the scientist to gather parts and resources for his/her new teleporter. The scientist was also actually a member of the institute, the one who originally developed the teleporters they used (currently a ghoul). The scientist wanted to continue improving the teleporter and was aiming to become the leader of the institute but someone else developed synths and his/her project was dropped and he/she lost the chance to become the leader. So the scientist left the institute to continue their research alone. After all these years the Sole Survivor helps the scientist finish the teleporter and they get to be the first ones to try it (maybe the first ones). So they try to teleport, and are forced to leave almost all of their equipment except a special vault suit (or something like that) and their pip boy (which will have an upgrade allowing them to be teleported). However something goes wrong and instead they go back in time. To where you ask? Why to Colonial America, in approximately 1775-1783. From here it could branch off into three different directions (not sure which would be better). Option 1: the Sole Survivor could accidentally kill someone important to history (ex. George Washington) and is forced to take the deceased's place to fix history. The Sole Survivor could return to his/her time because they had a portrait taken and the scientist saw the portrait, realized what went wrong, and locks back onto their signal to pull them back. Option 2: It could break off into a faction war like the base game, where the factions are the Native Americans, Revolutionaries, and the Red Coats. This would have to go with the theory where it would break into an alternate time line, but the Sole Survivor could return to his/her separate dimension after fixing their pip boy (kinda like DBZ). Option 3: There was another, previous test subject for the teleporter and they also went back in time (or it could be the scientist who got pulled along as well, only they went back a few years earlier). This other time traveler would become the main antagonist. In order to return to his/her time, the Sole Survivor would have to obtain the device the other time traveler has to the normal time. These are the ideas I had. Since it would still be in the Boston area, some of the same monuments and buildings would be there, which would be interesting. It would add colonial weapons and armor, new animals, settlements, and all sorts of cool stuff. I would love to actually see this, either by Bethesda or a talented modder. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

You have an idea for a "wall of text" mod?
LAZERFACE Sep 26, 2016 @ 6:31pm

Here's a non paragraph suggestion to fallout 76/4 players:

To community: opensource Fallout 76 private servers.

Problems solved. Or at least the ones we want solved.

Private Servers is the answer to all the MMO failures (ALL MMOS).

I can tell you are excited about your idea but the person who took the time to break it up made it much clearer. It isn't a bad idea but it seems pretty generic with really no ties to the Fallout universe.
One idea myself and some friends had was to extend the memory lounge to allow you to experience at least portions if not the whole of the first two Fallout games. There was a couple of obstacles the first being since none of us had played either game in years we would of had to go back to get intimately familiar with them. Which no one was really eager to do to the extent required.
The second obstacle was figuring out how to extend what the memory lounger does in the game as it is all static with no interaction. We actually got some ability to walk through the different areas but it was very limited.
Really what killed it though was it just didn't feel the same using the engine to translate what are top down games with their own perk and skill systems. It just didn't correlate well into the new format Fallout 4 uses.
