All Unarmed Special Moves (23 in total)
There's a total of 23 specials moves.. 23 reasons why you should play a unarmed character.

These moves each falls into a specific category Stealth, Combat, Weapon Specific. They are inspired from various martial arts or sports Wrestling, Boxing, even Sumo Wrestling etc.

I've put together a video to show them, enjoy:

Other than 'Iron Fist' are there any perk or perk combinations that unlock special moves? If any do at all?

I'm glad to see them slowly start to bring more technical martial arts moves into games... I hope moreso in future games instead of just the same generic swinging around.

Hey Hugh Mungus, I loaded a new game and still see alot of the special moves being used at level 1. I didn't test it long enough to confirm the complete list but I'm convinced that there's no need to unlock the moves. I'm quite sure of it though not 100%.

Yeah.. I think its a really awesome decision. Made my unarmed character really fun to play to be honest.

I'm happy to see a Sumo Wrestling move too. Its much less popular.

They could had (maybe should had) added Kendo and Fencing moves etc for the melee build too.. But the exisiting brutal kills are fun to watch too.

can i use knuckles and still do these?
Batman Sep 23, 2016 @ 5:40pm
I believe so.

I would assume it works with any of the "unarmed" weapons, so knuckles, boxing gloves, and even Far Harbour's meat hooks should work.

But I did noticed a drastic drop in frequency while I was recording for Deathclaw gauntlet and Power fist. The weapon specific moves are much much more favored. To the point I wonder if any of the truly unarmed special moves are removed from the list of options.

Due to the already low frequency, I don't think I'll be able to test it out properly.

Some of the truly unarmed special moves seemed quite rare to begin with too. Shoulder Throw and the ones with Dodge animations in particular.

It could also be affected by the state of the enemy's health or something similar. I had an unarmed character going around one-shotting low-grade raiders and I was getting a *lot* of knee lifts.
