"Trip To The Stars" Mistake - Fixable?
When I was initially going through Nuka World I cleared the junkyard and fixed the Ultimate UFO ride (or so I thought) - I did not yet have the "Trip To The Stars" quest at all.

I ended up filling the control box with ALL the cores it would take which, uh, now has unfortunate conseqeuences. Is there any way (even with console) to repair this or are they doomed? (My character is a somewhat nice person so the, unfortunate, outcome isn't really fitting lol )

ended up using setStage to complete it, hopefully it won't mess anything up

THey completely rip you off and leave you with literally nothing useful in return for your efforts and caps anyway. You know, like actual Scientology. The unfortunate outcome at least eases the sting a bit.

everyone makes mistakes even good people.

It was a hilarious Scientology rip that's for sure.

The payment in caps isn't completely worthless
The more caps you put in, the more xp you get out of the quest
I maxed the AHS tests and got 1K xp compared to the base 300.

If you finished the quest, you need to reload from a previosu save, not reset the stage of the quest you just screwed up.
Other than that, live with your choices.

I made that same "mistake". I shrugged it off, though. Found it slightly amusing.

Eh, who am I kidding? I laughed my ass off.

Leveling up in thus game is more of an inevitablitly than something we need to try hard for. 1000xp is pretty worthless.

Caps are pretty worthless.
I make around 300 jet in one session and I have around 70K on me at any given time
Raider tribute chests add to that absurdity

If I pay a small amount of caps for 1K xp, i'm pretty ok with that, saves me having to hunt down 4 ultra hard enemies

To each their own. I don't farm caps like that. Fast way to a boring game.

I would've loaded from a previous save but that would've meant redoing the power plant and the cappy hunt so... I just did setstage lol
