How many quests can I do for the Institute?

...Before the Brotherhood of Steel gets annoyed with me? Got into the Institute using the BoS, and there are some interesting quests down there. How many can I do before I ruin my relationship with the BoS?

BoS should be killed off as soon as possible anyway. They are nothing but racists and bigots.
Sure, the Institute may be slavers in fancy clothes but Shaun is your son.

When the quest Atomic (something) shows up or to be precise when they ask you on the next mission the game itself will warn you before proceding.

The points of no return are Mass Fusion (Institute), Underground Undercover (RR) and Tactical Thinking (BoS). Before those you can do anything with any faction and not get commited. You can even accept those missions as long as you don't carry them out.

Yes you can do any jobs and side missions before you get the mission that will warn you "this mission will turn this faction hostile"
