Need an ID code

I need the 7.62 ammo code. I cant find the one that works!!

Which codes have you tried? A help search for them only gives me a couple of results, and one of those worked just fine.

A base ID code should work; you're trying to add new ammunition, not locate an existing reference.

xx037897, good chance xx is 06 if you have all the DLC installed.

That looks like the right code, and it definitely works for me. The most likely thing is if you're not replacing the "xx" part with the appropriate index number for Nuka World.

If you run a help search for it through the console, you should get the ID with the index number included in it.

Otherwise you just try through all hexadecimal values which are in question.
00 = Probably the Fallout4 ESM.

I don't know how much mods you use, but actually you shouldn't load that much mods before the DLCs.

just type 01 02 03 04 05 06 etc in the place of the xx thats the Dlc its part of, do that until ya get the one that works.

If you have the same trouble with other base IDs, I really do suggest using the built-in help function to search for them since the results the search returns give you the full ID for things in the form that your game is currently using.

1. Open the console

2. Type: help "7.62 round" 4

3. Look for the "AMMO" section and you should find the correct ID for the 7.62 ammo (it should be 06037897, if you haven't tinkered the esp/esm load order)

4. Type: player.additem xxxxxxxxxx "amount"
(xxxxxxxxx being the ID and "amount" being the amount you want to receive
example: player.additem 06037897 100)

5. Close the console and you should see a notification in the upper left corner that you've received the ammo.

If you type

help "7.62 round" 4 ammo

instead, then you only get the ammo entries, saving you from trawling through a possibly very long list of unrelated stuff. ^_^
