Cheat level

So every once in a while I start a new fallout 4 game and swear to myself not to cheat my level up using consoles. But I often find myself frustrated with certain abilities level gated off (like needing local leader 2 to build stores) and artificall raise my level.

Do others also have this issue and so what level do you usally set yourself at so you can play normally?

Last time I played I set myself at level 29 and capped it at 30. Slightly different experience, didn't finish though.

No. I'm vanilla no mod no cons. 7th Playthru. The struggle is the fun.

There is a way for you to get the perk regardless of your level, by using CC and typing in player.addperk and then the perk ID number. I haven't used it so I don't know how it handles multiple ranks of a single perk.

I don't have an issue with using conole to cheat other then gated perks, and was wondering if I was the only one and if not what was a good level most people set themselves to as to not become OP.

I only use console comands for glitches, but i do not work, i game constantly. I have 13 toons over 100lv.
If you work, or dont have alot of gaming time, cheat your ass off. Make the game fit your life.

^ my life mostly right now. 5 shifts a week usally between 8 to 11 hours TT_TT

You need the console, like for the constant falling glitch, you have to use the console, it can not be avoided.

There are ways to get around these issues without cheating. There's multiple mods that remove perk level requirements, SPECIAL stat requirements, and even removing Local Leader 2 from the prerequisite perks for crafting stations

Hey, i wanted to tell you about nukaworld, you can get 1lv every 30 minutes farming mobs and also countless ledgendaries. just south of west gate to nuka are 2 building kill 10 mobs there and qt to the shovel museum, kill 10 more. Do that over and over. you get stimpacks 7.62 ammo 5mm ammo and so much gear you will leave most on the dead bodies. skip the lockpicking and just kill.

Nope no issue, if ya keep intel low, and use idiot savient perk it doesn't take long to level, I'm up to level 31 on my current playthrough and thats just with storyline only done, no settlement, side missions, exploring or DLC completed yet
