Deliverer removed from game????

Hey guys, so a few days ago I noticed the Deliverer you get from the railroad quest line was bugged. I couldn't get it legit, couldn't add through console, just ctd every time. I found I had four mods total that hit the item specifically and deactivated each one at a time correctly.
When that didn't work I removed all four. deleted the files and ran a game cache integrity scan, everything was good no problems, checked my loot order and everything was good.
I ran the game again, tried adding to console but ctd again.

Finally went to consol and looked up the item ID to verify it was right on the wiki and LOW AND BEHOLD I FIGURED OUT WHY I'M GETTING THE CTD

The item, is no longer registered as a weapon, it's flagged as an armor.
I added through console, equiped it, and it's a cosmetic now.
I don't know how or why but that's what happened.

DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AND HOW TO FIX THIS BECAUSE I SURE DON'T.

I've only ever heard of adding it via the item ID

48 is 4x16+8 or 72nd mod in yout list
c5 is 12x16+5 or 197th mod in your list

you can just look in NMM it has the ids next to the mod

Spot 48 is a standalone weapon

C5 is armorsmith extended

So maybe armorsmith?

"I couldn't get it legit, couldn't add through console" - covered that in the OP, game ID isn't showing up in the command, imgur links provided earlier along with my loot order.

Yeah, looks like the Deliverer OP is adding is the apparel version Armorsmith Extended adds. I completely forgot Armorsmith adds some weapons as armor. Meaning, the Deliverer is just not showing up in OP's searches, the armor Deliverer has nothing to do with it missing.

If you can't find a solution no matter how hard you try OP you can download the Covert Pistol mod, which basically adds the generic version of the Deliverer to leveled lists and such

I've got work in the AM so I'm hopping off for now, will be back tomorrow afternoon to brainstorm more.

I'm almost ready to uninstall all my mods, delete the data folder and verify cach then install each mod one by one to figure out the problem. I'm guessing it was one of four mods that changed the gun look, thing is I don't know what mod I have makes it flag as an armor piece

I had the following that hit deliverer

Unique Uniques
Jesters Better Deliverer
Deliverer Walther PPK Retex or Deliverer Clean PPK Texture (can't remember, probs clean tho)
Deliverer Pistol Sound Overhaul

One thing was fishy when I dug through the mods though, it was in the Walther Clean PPK texture it said:
"Replaces
Data\Textures\weapons\covertsidearm\covertsidearm_d.dds
Data\Textures\weapons\covertsidearm\covertsidearm_s.dds
Data\Textures\weapons\covertsidearm\covertsupressor_d.dds
Data\Textures\weapons\covertsidearm\covertsupressor_s.dds"

I checked my data folder and the file covertsidearm didn't exist at the time, when I added that manually I added it to the game itself.

Coming up different for me now, just now uninstalled Armorsmith ext and the DLC addons after doublechecking. going to see if updating that does anything at all.

Issue with that is I won't be able to progress in my main play because Deacon tries giving me Deliverer when the ref ID isn't showing up, but since it's scripted IDK how to get around short of console command finishing the quest and skipping his dialogue.
