Whats your favorite mod?
I finally have all the Steam achievements. So with that behind me I'm going to start using mods. Please share with me your favorite mods, what they do and where I can find them if its not to much trouble. Thank you. I will start digging thru Nexus and Bethesdia site but I just thought I would ask and get a head start. Thank you again.

Modern Firearms hands down. It adds a tonne of modern weapons to the game, plus armor and backpacks to increase your carry weight.

It is a toss up between Tales from the Commonwealth, The NAVI Power Armor, the CBBE body and the Super Hero Body, all of which enhance enjoyment of the rest for me.

Modern Firearms without a doubt, I just hope it keeps getting updated. What the mod adds:

Fully upgradable Rifles and SMG's from the following families:

Assault Rifles:
AR15/M16
HK416/417
ACR
G36
SCAR
SIG 550/552
AK47
FS2000

Battle and Precision Rifles:
M14 (including SOCOM versions
Wather WA2000
DSR Precision Sniper/Anti Materiel (.308,.338 Lapua, 50 BMG)
Accuracy International AS50 Anti-Materiel rifle

Submachine Guns/Machine Pistols:
MP5
UMP 9/45
MP7

Machineguns:
FN Minimi (M249)
M60

All the assault rifles are fully modular and moddable you can turn the base M16A3 into an SR-25 or a Mk18 CQBR with a 10.5 inch barrel, also has modern military optics used by the US and Russian armed forces, AK's can be modded into RPD/RPK's and marksman weapons

All weapons are moddable but some to a lesser extent then others, the mod is kinda a quest in that you have to collect rifles from the mod from vendors and/or enemies and scrap them to be able to mod others you have found, they dont just give you the ability to craft them from regular materials, but it makes it fun!

I apologize if my rant on this mods features ends up in any way taking away from the mods contents should you choose to use it, it's just so good I feel I have to go into vast detail, I will finish by telling you you can only get it on Bethesda.net here's the link:

Armorsmith Extended as well. Pain to setup, but it pairs good with modern firearms
Are you asking us our favorite mods as a kind of conversation starter, or are you looking for suggestions? A lot of us have favorite mods, but we also have mods we see as almost a necessity, like Armorsmith Extended, AWKCR, SKE, etc. If it's just for conversation, my current favorite mod (which changes a lot) is Lever Action Rifle REDONE. Makes the gun more viable and even gives it a shotgun receiver. The LAR is the only vanilla weapon I like more than gun mods.

Also, if you, or anyone else reading this topic, decides to get Modern Firearms be sure to note that it's not available on the Nexus, and only on Bethesda.net. Someone else already linked it, but I've heard of some people asking if it's on the Nexus

I thought that said Aerosmith Extended at first and was really confused.

If that was a mod then I'm sure it damn well would be a necessity

Unofficial Patch

Uncapped Settlement Surplus - makes it so your food/water doesnt stop producing just because you have a certain amount in your workshop

Scavver's Toolbox - you can field strip junk for the parts, drop it on the floor, hit "store junk", pull out the stuff you dont want broken down (kept trying to take one of my quest items), hit scrap all and your done.

Scrap Everything - Lets you scrap most things in settlements that you cant scrap in vanilla (trash, leaves, houses, etc). As helpful as this one is I'm looking for another scrapping mod though, this one bugs out in The Mechanist's Lair, gives what feels like too many resources, and there are a few things that you can't scrap that are rather annoying. Just make sure if you use it to save before and after scrapping, you can end up scrapping stuff you don't want to by mistake.

That's all I'm using for now. I'm keeping the "vanilla feel" for awhile longer, then I'll go all out :D

Immersive vendors and scrap dead things are the two I can't live without. Workshop Synth Production looks like another once it's been updated.
Mana Burst Sep 10, 2016 @ 11:52pm
Submersible Power Armor, TES-51 Power Armor, T-51c Airforce Power Armor, X-02 Power Armor, Combat Power Armor by Tumba, Spartan Power Armor, Pretty much every-new- set power armor except NAVI. Scrap Dead Things, OCDecorator.

So you're looking for mods, not just a conversation? I'll come up with some I think are necessary mods. Do you care about settlement building, or no?
