Multiple companions?
I haven't looked much into it, one mod I saw had me edit some things myself and since I'm too autistic to do that, I was worried I'd break something so I didn't get it. Any mods out there that just simply let you grab more than one companion?

i think this is the mod youre after, or something like it. but it does get buggy with vanilla companions.
Unlimited Companion Follower Framework

i do have the framework but only use 1 vanilla companion & a lot of customs/expendables instead.

NukaMon Capture Ball

^this 1 lets you capture and keep any npc, including vanilla companions. keep 'em in a box or throw 'em as grenades to release them again.

You can use my guide too. Its focused maily on creating custom companions without mods, but can be used to use 2 vanilla companions at the same time. Here's the link:http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=586057683

Thank you for this question and response. It helped me have the game play I wanted. Dogmeat forever 💕

I just use "everyone's best friend". That allows you to take dogmeat permanently + 1 companion

I've been tempted to switch back to Everyone's Best Friend as I don't tend to use more than one human companion, but I've been liking to explore with Codsworth and a human companion as well as Dogmeat so I've been using Unlimited Companion Follower Framework instead. The only real issue I have is the dialogue acts like one companion is replacing another as in vanilla but they are still your companion and stay with you. It's a little immersion breaking but it's fine in the long run.
