Fallout 4
Aeternus.. it's the best, officially
Okay, upon further inspection it's definitely the best weapon in the game, no question, no matter what build you have. And for those who aren't already in the loop on this weapon, it's available with nuka world.

the reason is using cores, it breaks the legendary effect. It tries to see the fusion cores as single rounds of ammunition, while in reality they of course are charges good for 500 rounds..

As such after a point, it will no longer deplete the core, meaning you can use the weapon endlessly. Further still the name implies bethesda designed it this way, and won't patch it, meaning one could rely upon using this weapon without fear of it being patched or fixed.

Needless to say, it's hands down the best weapon for survival mode as well, seeing as it has the best ammo/damage efficiency of any projectile weapon.

I'm too much of a hoarder in game to use a weapon that heavy...lol

This lol
If it was crippling too then sure why not, but it sucks against energy resistance enemies.

Final DLC.

Who cares about balance in the final DLC?

It's like Skyrim's Dragonborn DLC Giving you the Black Books and Dragon Aspect.OP Cause Final DLC get to play with OP toys now.

Anyone with basic alcamey and enchanting could crush balence in base skyrim.
Gatling Laser with infinite ammo
*balance*

Because ammo is soooooooooo hard to acquire in Fallout 4?

However best weapon? Not even. The old version of the explosive combat shotgun was the best weapon. Maybe for human companions it is the best weapon, but the robots from the Automatron DLC already had infinite ammo, and they had infinite ammo for an explosive minigun and fatman launchers.

Endless is a bad prefix for this gun

The Gatling Laser is the gun that you already can shoot A LOT for a little caps, compared to all other guns in the game.

One fusion core is able to hold 1100 bullets if you have Nuclear Physicist 3 and Repair bobblehead, otherwise 500.

You rarely have to reload with it (actually it's better not to reload after fight otherwise it will mess up your fusion cores but you don't lose ammo) and it has crazy dps vs most enemies that you will never use more than 200 rounds in a big fight.

There are way better prefixes for this gun that I remember

Irradiated, wounding, staggering, rapid... most notable the prefix 'Furious' was added to all weapons with Nuka-world and not melee exclusive. Each consecutive shot will give it higher damage and probably making it stack forever, on the same target.

e.g damage ramp 100,120,140,160,180,200 and so on... This prefix makes the Ripper and other fast firing weapons DEVASTATING.
People are forgetting its viability for survival mode. Yes, it weighs 29 pounds.. but it will only ever use 4 pound of ammo, 1 fusion core. Nothing more, nothing less. Shotgun shells weigh .100 pounds a piece.. meaning you would only set out with 40 rounds for your combat shotgun if you were to allocate the same inventory space to ammunition. Considering that fusion cores are a heavier form of ammo in survival this makes longer journeys from your survival base possible, with more room in your inventory, and more damage potential for the ammunition your'e carrying.
When I consider how many fusion cores I have saved up, unlimited ammo Laser Gatling isn't that impressive.
Eh, If it's not explosive, kneecapper or the other with increase damage per hit I don't wanna really take a look or give a damn about it.....but'll look and try it out anyway just to try different things.

The miniguns and Fatman launchers could break though. Never happened to me because things died to quickly, but apparently they can break after extended use.

You need a couple to make it have a 'true' infinite amount of ammo. I tried with 2 cores and it insta-depleted them, but holding 3 cores (1 in it, 2 in inventory) it started working fine.
p.s. takes up less space then Splattercannon and it's ammo.

Yeah, but it still doesn't match most guns in Time-to-Kill.

I mean, a Gatling Laser isn't that effective against most melee enemies to be perfectly honest. The spread and damage-per shot doesn't do much against a horde of swarmbots or ghouls, and much less against a Deathclaw with their titanic energy resistance.

Overall, I actually think this gun is less OP than Overseer's Guardian, and really only represents a viable alternative for people who want a good Gatling Laser (And don't get me wrong, it is good) but don't want to kill Maxson or join the Church of RNJesus and hope for a decent drop.

I literally never used the OG except for a little when i used it. I wasn't very impressed with it when i tried it anyway. 2 shot weapons aren't really my thing and i have a better combat rifle somewhere.

You kill me good sir, I am now dead.
The quest did not spawn the rouge knight so I spawned the weapon with commands. That didn't work well, so I was wondering if anyone knows the code to spawning the Rouge Knight so I can kill him. Please help. This is one of the only reasons I still play Fallout 4.
Two shot gattling laser i have enough fusion cores that i dont need to worry about ammo
