Im at level 60+ and feels like Im in God Mode (Very Hard difficulty)
When I first started playing from scratch on very hard, the challenge was awesome. I had to carefully plan who to shoot first, where to put mines, use grenades, use protectrons/turrets, etc ... Now, after getting full ranks in rifleman, big guns, explosives, getting the best mods for my fav weapons, every enemy looks like a piece of cake. They dont offer a challenge anymore.
I have few areas in the map that I havent explored, but the incentive to go there and explore is not there anymore. I dont need better weapons because I already have broken ones, enemies wont give me a challenge, going to unmarked locations without a quest seems repetitive (similar locations, similar loot). Only thing I can find interesting is going through the terminals and read how was the life of the residents in those areas before.

Is there a way to make enemies/monsters harder? I can kill chameleon deathclaws with 2 shots of my missile launcher when engaged (only one shot if sneaking). Im kind of sad that I dont need to use ever again my nice fatman. :(

EDIT: Maybe I can switch to survival mode? ....

Survival. I had issues with survival at first but it soon grew on me. Even with my level 50 something character and a decked out death bot, certain fights and situations lead to a quick death. Certain aspects of every fallout game will always be easy (sneaking and sniping), so nothing I can do about those. If you really want a challenge, you could try a melee build on survival.

in survival not only you will still feel like you have god mode but you will also do a lot more daamge than before

its because of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ enemy spawns that spawns level 1-5 enemies
rarely you will encounter a challenge

only somewhat challenging enemies in survival are Deathskull radscorpions , Mutant Warlords , High rank Gunners

which are rare encounters anyways even on level 80+

only thing "difficult" about chorevival is the lack of fast travel and saving only in beds
you can own survival while just using a pipe rifle

Survival Mode is your answer, I'm level 94 and even in full X-01 power armor you can die fairly easy if you charge into the wrong fight blindly. I died yesterday to 5 stingwings (1 legendary) in the glowing sea before I had even killed the second one.

Granted at that level you won't die "often" even in survival, but it WILL happen, be it a pack of deadly creatures (screw stingwings) or a random raider holding a fatman with your name on it. (Direct fatman shots are STILL one-hit-ko's even in explosive plating mkVI X-01 armor with 700hp, though you can survive promity shots if at full health.)

You won't be weak, but you won't feel like a god in survival mode. It basically lowers you down to "badass" level in the lvl 70+ range.

Wait until you get into the level 100 range, Very Hard is a challenge as the weapons will be getting weaker and weaker.

If I keep going like this Im pretty sure I will visit every location and completed every quest at around level 80 ( no dlc ).

I guess I will switch to survival and visit new locations. What I will do before switching will be to fast travel my ass off to sanctuary and save all my loot/items/weapons/armor/ammo. I will then upgrade my X 01 armor to the max, fast travel to a location close to an unknown area I need to explore, and then switch to survival.

Wish me luck! :)

Go to nuka world and you'll get your arse handed to you. I'm level 103-ish and find parts are able to kill me. Mostly the raiders, they're pretty tough. I came across a mythic deathclaw fighting a deathskull rad scorp, just sneezed about 6 exploding shotgun blasts at them. Yawn. The new monsters are just annoying mole rat like things. But those raiders are another story. Random group of them were able to defeat a group of supermutant masters no worries.

my main character is around lv 232 and a crit head shot with a maxed out 2shot guass dose little to a deathclaw (it dose around 400 damage)

so after 200+ level
there are no more 5 level enemies spawning?
because on 80 Survival i constantly fight such weak enemies i just bash them with my gun's stock because its not even worth wasting ammo

Try a mod called Arbitration. You can configure it for how much damage you deal to enemies and how much they deal to you. Plus, it enhances enemy AI so they move more and seek cover and reduces your ability to sneak around them.

My first playthrough of Fallout 4 I became bored halfway through the game on account of becoming too OP. It's mods like this and others that keep the game intensely challenging no matter your level.

The game will never present a challenge because Bethesda didn't balance the game properly. Try playing New Vegas in HC very hard mode instead.
Even on Survival both you and enemies get pretty spongy at higher levels. The lack of challenge there is against ranged enemies because their accuracy is garbage and their weapons don't scale. Melee attackers (especially fast creatures) are the only real threat. Charred Ghouls, Anglers in FH and Cave Crickets in NW will annihilate you, but raiders/trappers/gunners/mutants/robots are mostly laughable except in huge groups of 10+ at camps.

Nope after you get "endgame" gear New Vegas poses no challenge either
especialy if you cleared out some spots the respawn is wonky and either enemies wont respawn or they respawn in very small manageable numbers

only real threat are Legionary assasins / NCR hit patrols when you piss of either of the faction
and maybe occasional deathclaw group

but thats it everything else is eez peez

especialy when your endurance stat gets bugged like on my char
because of yau guai meat and mirelurk queen i have 12+ Endurance for some reason (had 2 before "sniper build so didnt need endurance")

That's the real problem at the heart of it, balance-wise. With no level cap, there's no hard limit on your or enemies' health, but weapon damage values do have a hard cap. At level 98 I've got over 700 HP and over 400 DR from weave and armors, but my damage output hasn't gone up since around level 40 when I maxed out.

As far as I can tell, though, creature "natural" weapons seem to keep scaling with their level, which explains why I've been one-shot by a legendary cave cricket while I can tank a minigun with my face.

yea i think creature melee is the only damage that scales properly
since a low level ghoul nearly took my head off with one hit (at level 80 he was like 15)

but still on survival melee creatures are usualy glass cannons they can one hit you but die after one two hits too (exluding the legendary or mythic/charred/dusk etc enemies)
