Was anyone else disappointed by the Fog from Far Harbor?
I know this may not exactly be fresh news to anyone who's played the DLC, but the fog is for wimps. I ran through it with my X-01 suit (which was simply painted, no rad-reducing mods) and was only taking 2-3 rads a second at the most, and even then I had like 600 health. The sad part is, all the NPC's at Far Harbor hype the fog as if it'll kill you when you step into it, i.e. a radiation puddle in the Glowing Sea, yet without Power Armor, all it does is 4-6 rads at best. A simple dose of RadAway DOES do the trick, Longfellow. Anyway, if you're above level 30, this DLC isn't a problem. Now the Nuka World DLC, on the other hand..

It isn't about the fog really its part of the lore behind it. Long Term exposure to the Fog isn't exactly healthy and according to the game's story at Far Harbor where the Fog goes so do the creatures of the Island. So the Fog slowly pushes settlers out of their homes, not just from the effects of exposure but the dangers of being attacked by giant mutant creatures.

It wasnt the actual fog that was the danger, it was what lurked in the fog that the people feared.

Fog crawlers and whatnot that loved the fog. That and what the guy above said.

Ohh, I see. Yeah, these settlers of Far Harbor aren't exactly strong by any sense of the word.
