was really hoping for some sort of basic slaving mechanic(other than the raidiant quest) with nuka world sad to see there isnt one
would have been nice to have slaves farm the food for the raiders .

Well you're supposed to subjugate settlements and they essentially become slaves. If you want to farm directly in your Raider posts I've read that building robots to farm with the automatron DLC doesn't lower Raider hapiness.

i tried it the happy level does go down ...for me anyway

it could have been as simple as having tranq darts in the syringer and putting collars on people and then telling them which(raider) settlement to go to
in fact this is so fregin simple i think a modder may well do it and do it quickly

The option would be nice but i would settle for all unnamed NPCs keep them in pits and assaign them work in raider posts, that could very easily be done by a modder .
