[Minor Spoilers] Nuka-world Nuka-cade prizes and ticket strategies

2 points to discuss:

1. Are any of the prizes unique/legendary items?

The prize list lists some armour but it's generically named however it costs alot of tickets. Trying to figure out if grinding tickets is worth it beyond the trophy/achievement.

2. What Nuka-cade games do you farm tickets from and what strategies do you use?

The shooting gallery gets good tickets but costs ammo and requires aiming. The ball toss and basketball hoops can be cheated by dropping the ball directly into the holes. The basketball can even just be lifted through the hoop over and over without letting go as well. The whack-a-commie is just tedious.

Did not go for the prices by now. Own something around 5k tikets. Hate playing those mini games. OK nice solution Mana Burst XD

Do the shooting gallery using the water gun, the ammo is fre and has AoE so theres no cost and no aiming.
The hoops game nets me more. I cheat by grabbing the ball, running up to the hoop and moving the ball up and down through it. I net around 1200-1600 tickets at a time like this.

The more expensive weapons tend to be legendaries, and I don't think you can get a paddle ball or acid soaker any other way.

I knew there was a way to proper rig these things

You need to use the Atomic Balls for my solution, so you have to buy them from the dude in the nuka cade, or console them in, I tried with other balls like pool balls and it doesnt seem to register them

I had tried something like that in the actual arcade by trying to funnel them into the top corner holes using random objects in situ but it wasn't really suitable.
Similarly I tried to induce a quantum jiggle on the hoop game but failed miserably

But at least I now know i'll get a better opportunity to rig something up myself at some point.

The best part is you can set up multiple, so you could theoretically just create a bunch of my rig up, and walk down the line, starting the games, then go back and collect the tickets

Acid gun and the paddle ball are two weapons that can be legendary. The best ticket gathering strat is to play the shooting game with "Spray N' Pray" which is an SMG with explosive damage as the explosive damage means you dont have to be accurate.

The easiest way - in my opionion at least - is playing the Bandit Roundup (or whatever it is called) as it is fairly easy to get a 'large' amount of caps. If you have an explosive weapon (in my case a 10mm, non auto) you only need 1 shot for 6-7 of the targets which gives up to 2400~ points each time nearly. If you get the max (i think) score of 9450 it gives you 911 tickets each time, yes, Each time. The second easiest would be the Commi-Whacking game using a Ripper. The Ripper pretty much makes it so you can't miss and can get quite a lot of points for it, but doesn't give a whole lot of tickets (around 400 something).
Even with 'cheating' on the basketball game i got over 5000 points but a measley 300 (something) tickets which wasn't really worth the time.

I just collected the wheels of tickets from around the park. There's something like 6k tickets laying around...

well if you want to get the weapons out of it, make sure you do it before you kill off all the raiders, the acid soaker and some other stuff i was getting tickets for is now gone. getting tickets from the games an explosive shotgun on that shooting game works easy and cheap on ammo if you just shoot in the middle after 4-5 targets are in view

Ive gottten over 11000, so the max is not 9450, but you have the right method as it is the same one I use.
