Obtaining Raider armour in Nuka World
I really want to dress like an Operator, but I want to keep them friends with me. Any easy way to get their armour?

Doesn't reverse pickpocketing still work in FO4? That'd be your best bet, though there may be a trader that sells it as well. Haven't touched the DLC yet myself yet but those would be the most prominent answers for your issue.

You could probably use a stealth boy with a silenced gun, in a less busy area, and sneak attack critical someone.

And if that doesn't work, you could always spawn it in, or find it on an enemy.

Couldn't find a trader with it and I have zero pickpocket ranks. I started a new character just for the DLC.

they fight gunners in the open world sometimes, if you let em be one may die, tedious as it is

If you build a gear store in Operator settlement once you get to the raider base building part, they will sell sub-faction specific armor and weapons.

Full pickpocket perks let you take equipped items, which lets you take even unique items. Failing that, use console commands to add them.

Haven't played nuka world yet but if there are random battles that happen where they die by other means, monsters, other NPC patrols they don't like etc. then you can go and loot their bodies after.

Best way to get free armor and XP to boot is from any gang leader ...

Talk to Mags and get a radiant quest. The quests are randomized, but the name of the quest is called "A Goods Defense". After you meet the team in the CW, kill the enemy, then pull out your best melee weapon and backstab them while hidden.

I've been collecting gang loot since I started NW, mostly to get free 7.62 rifles. Sometimes the "team" has a Lengendary, even better ... :p

EDIT NOTE: ... Remember the gangs motto ... TAKE ANYTHING YOU WANT, JUST DON'T GET CAUGHT.

Just a follow up question - which gang should I snub? Visually, I like the Disciples more than the Pack, but from a roleplay perspective their lust for torture and murder are likely to get in the way of optimum profit. Thoughts?
