A trip to the stars *spoilers*
Is there anyway to remove the 4th fusion core? I found the Junkyard before the quest and thought I could get into the ship if I added the the fusion cores. Alas when I got to the trip to the stars quest their fate was sealed.

The quest is bugged as hell. i completed the quest fully and in the correct order however it is stick 'active' in my quest log with all stages completed.

When a quest bugs you can usually use the setstage command to work around it. So for Trip to the stars at that quest stage it'd be 'setstage DLC04MS02 805' which should put you on the power distributor stage.

That does not help to remove the 4th fusion core, which is the main question.

I made that mistake but luckily I save a lot. It doesn't exactly tell you either once you've made the mistake and I expect that most people would just carry on with the hubologists meeting their maker.

I didn't know there's actually a good end to it. I thought the Hubs need to die for our good Karma.

Sorry I brainfarted and got distracted by the second post talking about the quest being stuck in his log.

thanks I was just curious if I could remove it. I didn't want them to die but I certainly wasn't going to replay 2 and half hours for it. Guess I am an evil raider.

Show some respect and go back to their base and get that recipe book !

Oh, so they can indeed survive? When I put in the fusion cores, I already wondered why they only need 3 when there were 4 slots. Didn't expect that bloodbath, but it reminded me of the New Vegas Ghouls who wanted to fly to the moon. Poor people.

If you have 4 fusion cores open the console, click on the fusion core, type it's ID.moveto player

Okay so I had the same problem. I made the same mistake of finding the junkyard first and installing all the cores. Haven't found a way to remove the 4th core but I did find a way to finish the quest the good way. When Dara rewards you with the AB gun, while still looking at that weapon screen, I opened console and put "setstage dlc04ms02 800"

So, instead of commenting on how the ship was already powered up, she asked for help for installing the power cores. Idk if it made a difference, but I didn't install the power distributor when I first came to the junkyard, so I did it this time and that triggered that part of the quest to finish.

Otherwise it went on as normally, Mainly, instead of Dara saying "Something's wrong, shut it down" now she said "it worked!" So yey.

I just spent all this time to keep Tula alive to find out something I did 4-6 hours ago is going to kill her any way.

I had to restart that quest as well a few times.

Keeping them alive is actually quite easy, did it first try with zero casualties. Again like you only to kill them without knowing. lol
