Missing Star Core
I have 34 out of 35 star cores (including the one at the top of the elevator in Galatic Zone). I need one more which is supposed to be in the employee area of the Nuka-Cade but it's not there. I've got the right location and it's definitely my last one. Any help? Thanks

Well could it be that the quest is bugged? If i am not wrong there are only 4 additonal star core slots after you managed to get 30 together to dissengage the robotsdefense thing.

*snicker* is that what completing Star Core does, disable robot defenses? I may as well stop now, there won't be any defenses left to disable...

Installing 20 cores shuts down all the robots and defenses galactic zone, installing them all rewards you with the Nuka Quantum X-01 PA.

(Spoiler) I read a walkthrough that said the elevator on the second floor of Starport Nuka is supposed to work once you restore power to the park, carrying you up to the tippy-top where the last Star Core is hiding. Clicking on the button before power is restored produces an error advising that you have to restore power for it to work, but now that I've restored power the button doesn't do anything. No error, no elevation, nothing.

I don't know if it's a bug or if I have to do more story quests.

If you're doing the same thing I was....wrong button.
Make sure to push the slightly visible button inside. I'm still looking for a Star Core outside the galatic zone lol

If I recall, there's one back stage at the theater in the Pack's main area in Nuka Town, but I might be remembering wrong.

this one ist the most irritating, needless quest i ever seen on a rpg so far. all other quests for get the parks back are easy or middle. on safari i.e. the missing enemys are located, it is easy to find them. for this one you "have to" cheat (youtube,or read walkthrough) otherwise you will have to spend hours of your time and probalby you wont find all anyway.

You don't have to spend hours, the computer console in star control will tell you where most are

I don't remember there being one in there but did you check the consoles? Maybe the core is installed in one.

EDIT:No consoles in that area I just checked. look for a bench.

Have you tried going back to the junkyard? I believe that is supposed to respawn.
