Nuka World Safari Adventure possible bug

After I killed the final Gatorclaw (mine was in the reptile exhibit) Cito starts freaking out that I've killed his family. I didn't do anything to the gorillas, so I reloaded to when i entered the building and killed the Gatorclaw again, making sure that the gorilla with Cito isn't anywhere around. Cito wasn't around, so i went outside and again he starts freaking out about how i killed his family.

Again, reloaded to when i entered the Reptile Exhibit except I then exited and went to check on the gorillas who are all perfectly fine, btw. So it seems that killing the final Gatorclaw autokills the gorillas. What?

That didn't happen to me. I killed the gatorclaws told him its safe and that my friends were moving in. told him to leave..

I never got the holotape to start the quest, so that sucks.
