Nuka World - Kill all the Raiders, Profit? [No Spoilers]
I'm not a Raider fan. I dislike their dirty little raider faces and their dirty raider mutts. I don't like the Raider aesthetic (I'm more of a cravat-and-brandy type), and do not want to live in squalor where the decorations are heads-on-sticks. I have no real interest in being the boss of a Raider gang, or getting involved in their politics. Most everything about the Raiders makes me want to murder them.

So, my question: can I safely just murder every single raider I see in Nuka World, and be on my merry way? Or would I really be missing something big by doing so?

You're a raider yourself by raiding raiders of their HQ.

Pretty much Miss out on a lot of quest related to them. There is a Mission you can pick up to kill them all.

As for profit, after it's all said and done, I can't answer that for you.

You'd be missing on the rewards and perks associated with the quests, but none are really essential. You could just ignore them and murder them as they spill out into the Commonwealth, or you could kill them as part of a quest to free the traders captured when they overran the place. Or you could try to get to know some of them a bit. I was surprised at how much I liked one of the gang leaders, and am still making decisions.

There's a quest to do just that! Talk to the medical merchant in the market area to get the quest "Open Season" then purge the raiders to your heart's content!

Sorry to hijack this thread but is it possible to complete the DLC with the raiders and then slaughter then afterwards?

Well there's a sort of 'point of no return' moment after securing the entire park where you start doing overtly bad stuff in the rest of the commonwealth. It pisses off some good guys. And killing off all the raiders then pisses off the bad guys. Sort of a worst of both worlds scenario.

I say play up the point where you're supposed to go raid the commonwealth, then pick up Open Season and purge.

^^^ exactly what I did. I went to explore the market better once I did all the main quest missions and that medic merchant mentioned it to me, so I said ♥♥♥♥ it...parks mine!

Yep, all mine. Empty, but mine.

I don't know why you couldn't take control and lay down the law yourself, rehabilitate some and purge the rest. You'll take up farming and you'll like it!

Thanks for the feedback, chums. I think I'll take that marketplace doctor's advice and murderise everyone who isn't wearing a tie. It's the only way to be sure.

LMFAO! Yes, I just love murdering raiders, and after seeing a super mutant attack a child in FO3 Plus the little skeletons in that school and little lamplight I went on a raider/SM murdering binge!

As far as the rewards and perks...Well, there is the console/Creation Kit for that! ;^)

So you can play around in "Infiltrate > Gain Trust > Destroy" style?

That's my plan! Well my real plan is to infiltrate, gain the trust of each gang individually, insiunate some nasty rumors that the other gangs are planning on attacking that gang, get them to go to war with each other, and then mop up the garbage left over.

The game seems to suggest so far that this is possible by calling the situation a powder keg ready to go up any minute.

Althrough I'm not sure how it took that many people months to clear out just a small portion of the park? They should have have the whole thing cleaned out in a day or two.
