NUKA WORLD Cola Cars Arena Glitch Bug

Anyone else playing Nuka World has completely bugged, messed up textures all over Cola Cars Arena, where you fight your first boss? Mine is unplayable, red metal sheets everywhere that you walk right through. Could not see where the boss was or how to exit, had to kill him via console and turn off collision to escape.

No idea how to post screenshots but soon as I figure it out willl do so

I used a third solution for this problem. Instead of the "disable" command I clicked on the bottle and used "setpos z -5000". That moved the bottle way below the area without having to leave and return to the area like you have to do with "disable".

Basically a bunch of cola bottles have grown massive. Cola Cars is one of the places they have accumulated. You'll need to open the console (press ' key) then click on one of the bottles (they do look like metal sheets cos they're so large it's hard to tell when you're in a small space like Cola Cars) and type "disable". One by one they'll disappear and you'll figure out the real arena.

edit: Oh, you jumped to the more drastic solution of just ending the quest by console killing Colter... lol.

In cola cars you're going to find about 7 to 10 of them in total. I found about 4 more in the junkyard. A few in some other park locations, and another few at the nuka bottling factory. I advise giving the console thing a try. The cola cars segment will be virtually impossible with them in there.

Hoping this issue gets addressed, it seems lots and lots of people are encountering it.

Some folks have looked to see if they can fix it (through mods or edits to the files etc) but from what I read so far they didn't find anything yet, like a cause or reason, or a solution.

Not impossible, it is very difficult, but not impossible. I know because I did it. In all fairness I am just playing on normal difficulty because I have done the hardest difficulty before and would like a more relaxing modded play through. I just used the marker over his head and blind fired in his general direction. Really helps when you have modded weapons and modded explosive ammunition rounds. It took me about 4 attempts and about 20 stimpacks. Not easy, but still enjoyable despite being unable to see in 90% of the arena. It wasn't that hard cause normal difficulty is easy. now Im here trying to fix this problem cause its annoying me.

Yeeeaaa, you're a golden god for this yo. April 2019 and the I JUST got to Nuka World (I'm slow, sue me XD), and the GLITCH IS STILL THERE. F**king Bethesda T.T But I found it on Nexus, installed it, BOOM no more not being able to see the arena or anything around it! YAY!

Hi guys i reacently started Nuka World and got this bug on my game, however on my wifes pc, with the same game setup and mods, no bug. Dug futher and found that we have 2 ini's.

The below line was mentioned several times in various forums and it does seen to be the problem

bUseCombinedObjects=0

Used for scraping mods to work. It was under general in the main ini (1)

1. C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\Common\Fallout 4\Fallout4_Default
Your install folder

Cool, it was the same, looked in the other ini (2) and found the difference between the games. my ini (2) also had the line, hers didn't

2. C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Fallout4
Same folder as your saves

I removed the line (bUseCombinedObjects=0) from that ini (2) and bingo bug gone

Can someone else confirm this or does it only work for me

if its real it is amazing that several years of the game the developers never found it .. not that I think they ever bothered to try.
I'm no help .. gave up on the game over a year ago.

Yes, I struggled with this "bug" in Nuka World. I finally got fed up with it and had to use the 'tcl' console command.

Wiped all data, did a new complete fresh install, new save profile (with mods and the same custom ini) and still the same issue. I'm thinking Its either the mods, or the ini settings at this point. however the only mods im seeing in common between us all is AWKCR or armorsmith and ofc F4SE and the patch

Try the mod from Nexus '' Nuka-World Scenery fix '' . It's got something to do with the graphics ''playing'' with the big Nuka-Cola bottles there . It's a well known bug that been around for years now .
