Dont use minute man overhaul. Its simple to use the construction kit and make an outfit and then have all the minutemen use it, do this for settlers in the same custom mod. Not to hard and very easy on the game and loading and everything.
I did this for Diamond City guards who have assault rifles and railroad armor and one of the cool cyberpunk helmets with goggles type things. Did this for settlers and Minutemen as well and a bunch of npc's. Changes the entire game and is one of the easiest things to do in the construction kit. Even changed equipment for companions doing this and they never run out of ammo. All this is one tiny custom mod that wont ever crash the game or effect load times.
Doing mods yourself never crashes the game using the construction kit once anyone gets the hang of it. Just never delete anything. Also dont do to much texture replacing and keep the textures small if possible. To much and it makes loads longer and other troubles.
Oh and have one personal mod for npcs and another for cleaning trash up in areas for example and one seperate fo each DLC.
I disabled all settlement category related MODs.
I can't play the next quest because of this
This doesn't work. You can't even select the post when you spawn it.
