Pip-Boy App still work?
Is the Pip-Boy app still functional? I couldn't find it on the Play Store, but got an apk from a (trusted) website. I can't seem to make the app connect with my game. Phone and PC are connected to the same router; phone via wifi and PC via cable. I did follow the instructions in the app: enabled the in-game setting and restarted the game. Still nothing.

Anybody have any advice on how to get this going?

It isn't compatible with certain types of hardware so they removed it from the store, and if you don't have the correct phone it might not work at all any more. At this point, I would say 'no it doesn't work'. If someone else chimes in with instructions that'd be good because I couldn't find anything that wasn't already duplicated around the net from bethesda's site.

I used it for over a year without issues, but about two months ago, it stopped working.
Can't find any game running on my Wi-Fi.

I don't think Bethesda changed anything with the app or the game, so I guess the problem is either my Wi-Fi or some mod I'm running.
My PC is wired to my Wi-Fi router and when I am on the game, it’s a searching and then it says cannot find devices on Wi-Fi. Does my PC have to be on Wi-Fi too?

It doesn't run on most phones any more. Running it "through wifi" on your PC won't open the app anyway so I'm not sure why you would bump a 3 year old thread about something that hasn't run on PC in the first place.
I thought they abandoned this app, officially, years ago?

I did use it when it first came out. It was fun.

It had been available for only one type of phone for a while, I never had that kind of phone at that point so I didn't bother. Kinda would have liked to have it for my costume at Halloween if I'd been able to make my lego pipboy but man that was not a design I could get my brain and hands to succeed at.
Lego PipBoy?! Cool!!
It was a gimmick. I used the first couple of times and even had a wrist-band thing so I could stick my phone on my wrist like a Pipboy. It was ok, but gets pretty pointless pretty quickly.
I think something like a free Nuke Cola bottle or Jet cosplay thing would've been better. I still have my old Oblivion coin which I think will last centuries!

I actually found it useful. Like I could look at the map on one screen while checking workshop data on the app.

I didn't manage to make it, sadly, because the videos I kept finding about them never listed parts or had instruction, just 'look at my cool lego pipboy I made'. I have like a BILLION lego parts, I was hoping to make the thing but ... eh!

>_> My halloween pix are in my Artwork gallery though! I had a blast, and most adults bringing their kids around (we had SO MANY. SO. MANY Kids) were aware of the show if not the game.
That is awesome!
I’m so glad all the kids recognised it.

Two years old. If you're going to be a ♥♥♥♥, at least be right.

It still doesn't run so there's that. Sorry to have awakened you, maybe try some strong coffee before posting.
