My Dude, I need a bed in sanctuary because players still be turning up when im just trying to build and I need that daylight and i dont want to share my bed. Homeplate is safe space, but Sanctuary, Ive been waiting for years for nicer floors and walls.

Well dude, turn off the settler beacon until you are done building there.
Nice, thanks! Can't believe Orphan's Beds never came up in any of my searches (probably 'cause I had only been searching for child/children).
Already placed one in Nordhagen Beach since the first thing I always do when I get that settlement is tear down their little shack and build them something worth living in for a family with a child.
Heh, first thing I do with Somerville after cleaning it up is to go around my other settlements looking for an unemployed woman to send to Somerville. "Guess what? You're now married with two children. In compensation you're now the proud owner of a Tier 3 bar to better absorb that bit of news."
But your issue is simple, unassigned settlers will use your bed. Assign all your settlers to jobs, no more problems.
