dud grenades?

Sometimes I with toss one and see my arch I even here the click before I toss it. After sometime nothing happens and I end up running up and shooting him/her/other/it. Anyone else have that problem.

I haven't seen any dud grenades. But certainly some more effective and less effective ones. Depending on what type of enemy you are fighting and type of grenade. You obviously want the best grenade type for the type of enemy. Their vulnerability. Something that attacks them specifically. Also of course level up your Explosives Perks and find the Explosives Bobblehead. Leveling up the Perks helps a lot for more damage and when you can see the arc you will throw it on. You can put it right on them.

Something interrupted you while trying to toss the grenade. Happens if you get hit on your arm/head and sometimes from movement, especially if you drop from a piece of furniture or roof. And believe it or not there are bugs in this game as well. Just try again if it happens.

You have to buy Consistent Grenades from the Creation Club

Never had any issues with dud grenades. Are you using mods? If so, that is the first place I would check.

That's from the Grenade Expansion Pack mod. A "dud" is some thing that doesn't work, in other words the dud grenade is a fake grenade.
