Vault-Tec DLC - Vault 88 door issues

Hey all, Question. In my game the Vault 88 Door will not open or close for my character in general. He goes through the whole pipboy animation but the door doesnt respond. It will open and close however if i am in power armor. Its a really annoying issue and my google-fu was not strong enough to find a fix. I really would like to build in there but this issue is ruining the whole settlement for me, and id rather not have to keep a set of power armor near the door just to open and close it.

I disabled all mods and still had the same issue. (None would affect that area anyway)

Any help/Tips would be Great!

Did you kill all enemys around the Radiation Site ? a voice will talk to you at the door when ya do

I never had to use power armor to open close it btw I use standard armor

Yes that are all dead. I confirmed it a couple times. Door just refuses to react unless im in power armor. its weird....

Maybe you could just, I don't know, leave it open? It has no effect on spawns while being attacked.

I never had any attacks once on vault 88, I guess I have the right defense setup
