Survival not working

I tried playing on survival but my character doesn't get hungry or thirsty and he doesn't have the adrenaline perk. I can't quicksave though.

I tried disabling all mods and verifying the game but that doesn't help. My game just broken

Does anyone know what's wrong?

lol did you read anything about survival...the game even TELLS you to go read the info on survival.

you only get hungry and thirsty when you do things like get in combat or travel or take a stimpak or whatever.

adrenaline perk only activates after you kill people.

I sat on chair and waited for 14 hours and didn't get thirsty. Thought it didn't work

Here is a very good walkthrough that was made when the Beta came out (so there have been a few tweaks but no major changes.)

After playing thru the game on Hard and Very Hard, I watched this prior to playing Survival. I found the information very helpful.

He explains most of the survival elements and what to do to combat them in the first 2-3 videos.
