Flying ant swarm bug?

So I use an explosive 10mm as my primary stealth weapon at close-mid range and I almost walked into the middle of about 8 ants. I respond to the threat by spraying the ground a little and they all died, except for the swarm which is pparently still alive despite having no ants in it. I seem to have killed them all through limb damage and now there's an invisible and immortal enemy hitbox flying around my head producing that annoying buzzing sound.

Has anyone else had this?

I had that Buzzing sound problem before, just go inside a building were you have to load the cell, that should fix it.

Heh, a bit late I'm afraid. The raiders patroling nearby managed to somehow hit it and it died. Had to go all the way back to the Gulch just to loot the silly thing. I also had a ghoul survive having both legs, an arm and it's head being blown off earlier.

I know this is an old thread, but if anyone’s having this issue you can position yourself in the direction you hear the swarm and gun bash. Works as well
