Get Endurance to 12 (base)

Hi, so I read the guide about getting skills to 12 without using cheats or mods. It involves getting a certain stat to 10, then taking a drug that lowers it and reading the SPECIAL book, once the drug effect is off, you will have the stat to 11. Then you can use the bobblehead to get it to 12.
Thing is, I googled for what drug lowers endurance and couldn't find anything. Anyone knows how to do that?

For a couple of the SPECIAL statistics, you may need to use addiction or withdrawal to penalize the relevant ability. Just make sure you're over the addiction/withdrawal before going for the bobblehead.

In survival peckishness and hunger will lower END and I believe Buffout addiction will lower END by 2. If I recall the effect of additions is to debuff you by the amount the drug increased. So Buffout providing +2 END an addiction to buffout should decrease END by 2.

I think addiction won't work for this specific goal, at least that's what i read... Didn't test it myself tbh.

If I have 10 endurance and I find the bobblehead will it rise?

Yes, it will get to 11. That applies to all stats, but you have to use the bobblehead only after getting the stat to 10, otherwise it will be capped at 10. You should be able to get one single stat to 12 tho, using the SPECIAL book trick i mentioned. I wanted to get endurance but i need a drug that lowers it, and i don't think addiction would work.

I just tested it and it did not work for me. Here is what I did. I loaded a Very Hard save when exiting the vault.

I set my END to 10.
I ate 6 Buffout causing an addiction.
I waited 4 hours in a chair for the Buffout to wear off.
I confirmed that I now had END (-) 9 with Buffout Addiction debuff.
I attempted to use the Special book but it would NOT give me the option to put the point in END.
I spawned the Endurance Bobblehead using the console. It did NOT raise my END.
I took a refreshing beverage to cure my addiction and my END was still 10.

If it worked at one time, I don't think it works now.

There is a drug that raises all stats by one. An addiction lowers all stats by one. Maybe you can try that?

What i gathered is that it won't work with addictions. It should work with drugs effect that lower a specific stat (like alcohol for intelligence). Still have to try it tho.

Also, maybe they changed the way bobbleheads work? I am pretty sure they once let you get all the stats to 11...

If you don't believe me then try it for yourself. It won't take more than 5 mins.

Withdrawl debuffs do NOT let you raise a stat to 12 with 'you're special!' - you need the drug to directly lower the stat.

If you raise your stat to 10, then pickup the bobblehead it will go to 11 (or 12 if you used the 'you're special!' trick).

It didn't work for me. I set END to 10 and spawned in an END bobblehead and my END remained 10.

First of all sry for my english.
You End remained 10 coz when u use console command.. you get Bobblehead directly in your inventory. (After you get game message about you End grow but its nwm coz its still 10.) To get 11 End you need 1) Use console command 2) Drop End bobblehead on the ground. 3) Grab End bobblehead from the ground. After this you End grow to 11 from 10. Or just take original End bobblehead in original place when u End is 10.

P.S. interested to hear about drug tricks to 12 too \^__^/

I just tested it. And you are correct. After dropping the bobblehead and picking it back up it gives you END 11. Thanks for the info.
