Far Harbor Endings Limitations? (Spoilers, duh)
So I'm having a bit of an issue with the Far Harbor endings..It feels like they're limited. You can turn DiMA in, but then that's it, there's no resolving conflict between the groups. You can replace Tektus, but then you can't have DiMA turn himself in.

Or can you? That's the main thing I'm wondering, if you do things in a specific order, can you go about it in the way I want it? I'd like to: Replace Tektus > Turn DiMA in > Tell Railroad about Acadia

But it seems like any of those actions just arbitrarily "end" far harbor. Am I mistaken? Is there an order of doing this that allows you to do this? Hell, even a mod that lets you go about it like that?

At this rate I'm close to just saying my character p****ed off about all the conflict and just cleanse the land of everyone. Let the island reclaim this hell hole.

If you skip turning in DiMA, that is possible in vanilla. I don't know of any mods that can do that or even if it's able to be done in vanilla.

So it's not possible to turn in DiMA after Reformation? If so I'll have to go a moddin'. I don't want to replace Tektus and leave DiMA to just start replacing anyone he finds troublesome, but Tektus needs to be replaced because he's a freakin' madman and is going to end up blowing the whole island up. Let the children worship, but no need for genocide.

Replace Tektus > Turn DiMA in > Tell Railroad about Acadia
That outcome doesn't make much sense - replacing Tektus can only work if the children of atom believe the vision story, and don't suspect him of being a replacement. Broadcasting to the entire island that Arcadian synths routinely murder and replace people is pretty much guaranteed to undo anything you might have hoped to achieve by replacing Tektus.

That is to say, the limitation is not entirely arbitrary.

I guess you could send the BOS or Institute to the Island if you feel strongly about punishing Dima. Notifying the Railroad seems to have no effect beyond Boxer moving from RR HQ to Arcadia.

So it's not possible to turn in DiMA after Reformation?
The associated quest are closed, and the items are removed so I very strongly doubt it. I guess you could try using console commands to restart the quest (and/or add the items) but the outcome is anyone's guess.

Well, I assume you have a RR ending or plan on it. With the BoS, you are able to "turn in" Acadia as a whole. Bad stuff happens to all the synths that way though...

Hence why I don't want to tell the Institute or BoS. They just go shooting up the entire place. Sure the railroad doesn't do anything with the player but I can assume they're helping the synths behind the scenes. DiMA I don't trust nearly enough to leave him be after replacing Tektus. And even if I end up replacing him and then broadcasting "oh hey they're replacing people", the hell are they gonna do if Tektus is dead/gone? Kill DiMA again? Start killin at random and turn into diamond city with the paranoia? None of the far harbor factions seem to be like that. They all are strong and wouldn't really fear it.

You could always punish DiMA first, then "resolve" the conflict by destroying one of the remaining sides. Or both of them, if you prefer; you can make a wasteland, and call it peace.

I seem to remember the Institute subduing at least some of the synths, so they might be slightly preferrable.

Was tempting. Ended up doing Reformation, then disabling DiMA's essential tag and killing him (Even made it look like a suicide), going to tell railroad about Acadia when I get back home. For the most part worked out fine, people even reacted appropriately to DiMA's death.
