So it's not possible to turn in DiMA after Reformation? If so I'll have to go a moddin'. I don't want to replace Tektus and leave DiMA to just start replacing anyone he finds troublesome, but Tektus needs to be replaced because he's a freakin' madman and is going to end up blowing the whole island up. Let the children worship, but no need for genocide.
That is to say, the limitation is not entirely arbitrary.
I guess you could send the BOS or Institute to the Island if you feel strongly about punishing Dima. Notifying the Railroad seems to have no effect beyond Boxer moving from RR HQ to Arcadia.
The associated quest are closed, and the items are removed so I very strongly doubt it. I guess you could try using console commands to restart the quest (and/or add the items) but the outcome is anyone's guess.
Well, I assume you have a RR ending or plan on it. With the BoS, you are able to "turn in" Acadia as a whole. Bad stuff happens to all the synths that way though...
Was tempting. Ended up doing Reformation, then disabling DiMA's essential tag and killing him (Even made it look like a suicide), going to tell railroad about Acadia when I get back home. For the most part worked out fine, people even reacted appropriately to DiMA's death.
