Incredibly difficult to jump into the back of trucks?

Is this a bug or something. I try to jump into trucks for like 10 minutes sometimes. 200 times. To get the ammo or whatever. It's like my character can't jump that high. Why is it so hard to jump into the back of a truck? It shouldn't be this hard.

Do you use something like high heel system. Or a mod that makes your character shorter.

I have no mods.

Status is fine. Not over incumbered. No heal problems. Well rested. Just can't jump that high. What the hell? There is an ammo box at the end of the truck. I can't get it! My character can't jump that high.

Try stepping back a little, then jumping up and moving forward. Sometimes if you are in contact with something it seems to effect your jumping.

I've seen this multiple times in the game now. I was able to do it early in the game. It doesn't happen every time. But it does happen. What's wrong?

Not sure. I never tested that. My machine is way over powered for this game. 60 fps is the default isn't it. I didn't change anything. It's probably the default.

I tried stepping back. I tried running at it. I tried not being in contact with it. Because you said you can get stuck on something and you can't jump. Every which way you can. I tried like 200 times for 15 minutes. I can't get in there. It just comes up a bit short every time.

I'd double check the FPS in case everything else doesn't work (Steam has an option to display it). Happened to me that the game sometimes gets wonky and gets past the cap, and that messes up with jumping, among many other things

Having the same problem but in survival mode... My character jumps no higher than like, a few inches off the ground...

Yeah that's what my guy does. LOL. It's so far beyond frustrating. I can see ammo boxes I sometimes just give up on. I can't stand there all day.

yes you can do that or just don't be stuck on the border, stay 2 feet from it , then jump and then press the move forward button while in the air.

I could check that. I'm way over powered on my machine. I'm sure it can do this game way above 60 fps.

Really strange. In the beginning of the game I could always jump into the back of trucks. I've noticed it much more often lately. It's starting to happen more frequently. No mods. No health problem or addictions. Not over incumbered.

I just don't understand at all?

I tried like you guys said. Back up. Not too close. Don't get stuck on an item while jumping. Try running at it. Try 2 feet back. Jump 1st. Then forward. I tried everything. Literally like 300 times for 20 minutes. Different angles, step back, don't be too close, run at it, jump first and then forward.

Just everything and NO LUCK at all. Wow.

I had to turn in a mission and the area was already cleared. Probably just some more ammo and I have a lot. But it makes me very mad. Because you should be able to do this. No reason you can't jump into the back of trucks. They game puts them there for that reason.
