But that would be all the time, not intermittent, wouldn't it?
seen a lot of this threads too from ppl who used texture mods.
Otherwise, you can just manually save the game and reload that save until it goes away
Some mods cause this tbh.
Only way I was able to fix it is removing the mod that caused it.
Also another fix is save and reload you game until the black face is gone.
The Eyes Of Beauty and busty grrl mods can be the issue.
II stopped using that mod for the eyes. I use a different one.
Busty can also cause this.
- Save/load can correct it, not always
- Save/exit/load will always fix it.
2. Make sure your face decals is set high in your INIs.
3. Enable triple buffering on your video card
- Go to video card manager program
- Manage 3D settings
- Go to programs settings and add Fallout 4
- Enable triple buffering.
4. Ensure your skin altering mods are in their correct loading order and have the necessary mod requirements.
5. Get rid of the high resolution DLC it is a complete waste of space at 50gb.
- Go to game tab
- Manage my DLC
- Remove High Resolution DLC
These tweaks will not make the problem go away completely. It will reduce the frequency black face happens. It happens because Fallout 4 sucks @#$% when it comes to shadowing and once the memory is eaten up for shadowing you start seeing black faces.
Sidenote: Beware of Black Face mod fixes and Looksmenu. They used to work because they used a decal slot unused by other mods. Looksmenu now uses that slot for eyebrows. So using the fix mods will give you missing eyebrows.
actually its the mod i promise, Before, I only used mods from in-game mod download
No brownface even after 50hours
I played multiple save files now and got 300 hours, it only started when I downloaded alot of mods from nexusmods. therefore the suspect was from nexusmods mods i downloaded but I lost track which is which now.
