not so much an architect nor have possession of a G.E.C.K. to help rebuild like in 2 and New Vegas with Vault city and Mr. House's robot minions securitrons.
makes sense the best you can do is a crap shack or barns and stuff made out of makeshift wood scraps steel scrap metal or very impure concrete bunker types.
cars theres the settlement objects
CWSS showers and tubs adds working showers and bathtubs and sinks as well as toilets to your settlements (more immersive imo since it does inc. happiness a bit and people gotta wash or they end up smelling like death and rads)
BYOP build your own pool adds placeable water water falls and pool tiles that you can swim in. Makes it look much nicer.
beach workshop settlement items (idr if that's the actual name just look up beach under settlement tab) adds a ton of beach theme'd items. Not common wealth related some but does add to the immersiveness since it's all 50's-60's themed
dlc plus some creation club items add other stuff like slocum joe's donut shop prefabs. Though i must warn CC some of the stuff is glitched and will cause crashes without other mods to help fix it.
project zeta adds a ton of alien stuff to the game and settlements some of them
enclave reminants workshop items (forgot the name again but it's one of the newer mods on nexus that adds a ton of enclave theme'd items)
project mojave adds tons of fallout 3 and new vegas items. Some settlement items as well
for anything else look under the settlement tab and order it from most popular. The most popular are usually gonna be the ones that have the most items to place.
