If I did not push it I think Des was there with me and she would have. Maybe she would not give me the note because it was for her? His death and Glory's was hard to take. I just kill the last of the L&L gang Maybe Glory will rest in peace now.
I think there's this locked door with a corridor and a synth in a closet at the end. The lock is expert or master so even if you're fully exploring and looting the place you might miss it.
Anyway the Railroad ending is one of the most unfulfilling endings possible I reckon.
All of that in one run, from the scribblings of a mad man.
Much better to have a one ruler military dictatorship. Nothing could ever go wrong with that, like getting a bad rulers. Just because their policy is to keep all the tech for themselves and keep humanity in the stone age - that's good right?
Or killing anyone who gets in the way of toasters.
Or Anarchy, which failed once already. Have another go at a system that is a proven failure and requires a charismatic leader. Not like the single point failure of a bad leader works.
And all three will use another thermonuclear bomb to blow up all the bad people, and a few innocent bystanders... and the innocent bystanders... how many of those are there? Kill 'em all and let the deity sort 'em out, right? Using nuclear weapons is the only way to make sure that humanity never uses nuclear weapons again.
{/sarcasm}
The Institute may have experimented on surface dwellers with the FEV virus, and I can't prove that they just experimented on raiders, but even so, they're the only future for humanity
Humanity was immoral before the war, why do you expect them not to experiment on the FEV virus or even Robobrains? Or dump toxic waste everywhere... it's not like the game has humanity being virtuous)
As others have said you can just do as much as possible then just bounce. Don't have to complete any questline. Just finish DLC and install some mods. Or a new playthrough.
