Supply lines get added automatically?
I have a lot of provisioners going around now. When I clear out a settlement and open up a new workshop it seems it's just added automatically. So they do that? Just add to your supply lines automatically once you get up and running? Because at first I had to assign them all the time. Now they just do it automatically when you add a settlement?

I looked at my supply lines it was already on there for my most recent cleared out places. My workbenches have huge stuff you can build. So no way it's just that settlement.

That's what I would want them to do. But I was just curious if that is the actual mechanic. Once you get up and running it continues to add whatever you add to your supply lines. That appears to be the case. I was surprised to see it honestly.

No supply line is set up automatically. You have to manually create each one. So either something is bugged/glitched, or you have a mod that changes it. (The exception being raider outposts, if you have Nuka World, will all be connected with invisible supply lines to each other.)

Unless you're running one of the settlement mods, they definitely do not have automatic lines.

Setting up my robot army would have been a bit easier if supply lines added themselves. :steammocking:

OK I have to set it up. I guess I got fooled at Jamaica Plain. Because I raid that place for all the circuitry and steel. I had a lot in the workbench. I must have looked at it wrong. I will assign it.

No mods I will assign it manually.

When you open your map and click C you'll see the supply lines you actually have and plan them accordingly.

It's weird. There is a line. But there was no supply line. It wasn't connected to another workbench. So I sent a provisioner. It's not connected. But somehow it showed a line?

Supply line to a farther settlement will look like it's passing through the closer ones that stand in the way of the line. No, one supply line does not serve any settlement they run past.

So they all have to be attached 1 by 1 along the way. I think I went back and did that. I will have to check it again. But I don't have a problem getting huge resources at my workbenches. So it's in there I think.

Must be some mod that does it. That or you set them all up and forgot about it. Or forgot about the mod that does it. Either way forgetting stuff seems to be the issue.

II had to put it in there manually which is OK. It's weird. It looked like it was added. Based on the direction the line goes. It looks like it goes through there. But I guess not. When I looked at the workbench there was no doubt it wasn't connected.

If they don't work that's going to be annoying figuring out which ones to add real supply lines to.
