I share the pain of having to give up on some real time action gaming. Thankfully, I discovered the genre of games like XCOM2. A testament to masterpiece it is. ...and it complements my newfound speed of absolutely stale and motionless. I was familiar with the old school turn based but fell out of interest. XCOM, Hard West and Phantom Doctrine revived the love.
OT:
I share no shame in activating TGM, myself. In fact, I recently toggled Todd Mode just to fly through and remove The Dig from my bottomless list of a mission log in the PipBoy.
Amazingly, it was rather fun. I collected nothing, no gear or Leg drops. The XP was not a boon, as I had unused perks banked. That 3 barrel handmade shotgun made quick work of everything. Including that idiot Mel.
no, to warm today
You're not hurting anyone in a single player game by enabling God mode. Honestly, if it's more enjoyable for you then who cares. Plus you're not missing out on anything aside the awful balancing act of your inventory items (do i wanna carry more guns, or do i wanna carry a bunch of food like Skyrim) Cheats used to be a wonderful thing back in the day, it let you goof around and not take the game so seriously. Hell, some cheats were rewards for your hardwork or attention to detail. I blame this modern generation of "cheaters/hackers" in online games who have made it a proverbial crime.
You got me. I do indeed like a good pumpkin pie, or bread now and again ..
I have to admit, to the thread in-general, these responses are all pretty good. This was not to seek attention, and is not a troll. I just felt like the discussion section was getting spammed with new players digging up old threads with no new input, just commenting their thoughts on a 6 year old matter that was pretty well resolved, or no longer relevant.
Thanks for playing along.
I do this so I can build wherever I want.
