HELP: Having trouble activating mods in Nexus Mod Manager
I am trying to install some fallout 4 mods after getting a new computer. I can download mods, but I can't activate them. It comes up with the following error:

"A problem occured during install:
Could not load file or assembly 'System.Transactions.dll' or one of its dependencies. A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007045A)
The mod was not installed."

Any ideas?

For starters, NMM is not supported anymore. You'll need to move to Vortex.
What mod were you trying to install ? Is it fixed once you transfer over to Vortex ?

This is incorrect. NMM is no longer supported by Nexus only (they basically haven't supported it for over a year until the EU security update). The newest updates can be found on github. They just had a major update last week as well as one this week.

O.P. If you want to still use NMM, get the updated version. DO NOT download from Nexus, as it is not current. If you need a stable version to start from, go with 0.65.03 and then update it through github. Nexus' version was only a EU security update before they abandond the mo completely to integrate their latest beta mo, being Vortex.

Okay, I will try the one from github, and then if that doesn't work I will try vortex. I haven't been on the nexus for quite a while. So I have missed out on this stuff. Thanks. I will tell you if either of these options work!

I tried the Nexus Mod Manager from Github, but still isn't working, and i don't want to use vortex. I had a look at it and tried it, but I hate the UI and encountered problems from the get-go. Any ideas?
